I wonder if clubs are having to change their current-practices or can they avoid these lawsuits in the future by making dancers sing contracts?

I like the idea they should sing their contracts.

In the long run, I believe the clubs will be forced to treat dancers as employees.

But I also think dancers will rue the day they discarded the independent contractor model.

Clubs need to treat dancers as independent contractors. Clubs try to have it both ways--controlling dancers as though they were employees but not paying social security taxes or minimum wage. They keep losing these suits because they are breaking the law.
