I see they have joined Sweden in making it illegal for men to pay for sex. Why the hell is it always the guys that are prosecuted ?

    Seems like discrimination against men.

Can women pay for sex legally?

Then they should make it illegal for men to get married.

Fucking retarded ignorant posts. 99% of those prosecuted for paid sex are women, not men. Shut the fuck up you whiny little bitches.

What, I thought they were sharks, shadowcat. All the attorneys I know exhibit that persona. :)

In the US it's usually the providers who are prosecuted, similar to the drug trade.

If a girl has sex with a guy in France and he gets prosecuted then surely the girl is complicit in the crime and should be prosecuted as well. It's like prosecuting people for taking drugs but not for supplying them.

This law is not good for sex workers. Their income will dry up because their customers will be too scared to purchase sex. Trafficking and underage girls should have laws targeting those specific offenders.

In recent years many politicians have pushed through laws aimed at stopping prostitution by busting the buyers. You read about stings on Back Page, etc.

You would think by now that people would realize that prostitution is never going to end. They don't call it the oldest profession for no reason.

Those French are so weird. I mean didn't half their government get exposed to banging a bunch of prostitutes?

Attorneys are a reflection of the people who hire them, so when my clients need to see the asshole, they get a mirror.

We will see if the French are really interested in enforcing such a law. But consider this, I never in my life have offered a woman money for sex. No reason to. I always treat all women like civilians, and in all situations.

If a woman asks me for money for sex, and if she is a cop, then that is entrapment.

There really is no way to enforce the criminalization of prostitution without also criminalizing marriage.

We should already know this, thanks to Comrade Engels.

Simple solution: more FKKs on the France-Germany border.

I want to know how and in what situations they plan to enforce their new law, as I don't think I have ever done anything which violates it.

.. meanwhile, I am sure, the wealthy and powerful and connected men all use private escort agencies where all the sponsors and providers are vouched by one another and are shielded from law enforcement.

Another reason to not visit France. Not like I need another one, but okay.

"making it illegal for men to pay for sex."
What about women? Is it legal for us to buy it there? Woo hoo!
