Posting Reviews to Two Different Sites?

What is the TUSCL policy on posting the same review to two different sites? Not plagiarism, but the same review by the same author on two different sites. I have always thought it poor form and avoided it, as I think it dilutes this site, but I recently ran across the same review on this site and USASexGuide by the same author. Is there a formal policy against this? I don't want to get anyone in trouble and I think it an innocent mistake, but I can't find a policy on this anywhere on TUSCL, so I guess it is allowed?

I don't know the policy, but beyond ridiculous to not allow it, IMO. If I thought any other review sites were worth my time, it wouldn't have even occurred to me that it would be a problem ... seems like a "no posting the same review on another site" would be the forum-rule equivalent of a low-self-esteem jealous stripper.

From what I have been able to gather, it's the plagiarism issue of someone gaining VIP status without contributing to the community. If the review is your own words and your won visit, that seems honest to me. Copy/pasting someone else's review from USASexguide or copy/pasting a another dancer's club review from SW to here, is, IMO, leeching, dishonest, and not contributing.

I feel it's the "leeching" aspect that gets you lynched. We don't like leeches.

I have used the same review I've written on different sites. Anyone who uses others reviews for their own gain is leeching.

This is the only site I use, although I occasionally look at another for Michigan clubs.

After all, there is only one Juice, so I might as well stay where he roams.

I will often post a review here and copy it to my local stripclub board in the hopes that more people might see it and hopefully take away some usefulness from it. What's the harm?

I don't see the harm if it's the same user posting a review on two sites. It seems that there are few sites with decent club reviews and advice - so the more reliable information - the better.

If it's just to get VIP status here - that sucks - but if it's a reliable source - I'd be ok with it.

Plus, who is going to enforce it? The small staff (guess) running this site? Even if you did block the username or IP address, you could just create a new one or login from a different IP.

    Not worth the effort.

I read the terms of service for tuscl. The fact that I read that in and of itself should prove that I'm a lawyer. It is my legal opinion that presently there is nothing unlawful if the same person posts their own review on tuscl and on another web site.

Emily, if you want to hire me as legal counsel, I can update your terms of service to address this and many other important issues. Or if you'll give me a nice prop, I'll do it for free.

^^ To what point? Who will enforce it? Especially, with the number of poorly written "original" reviews that already get through.

ww, that was a joke. I don't expect Emily to hire or prop me.
