Did you do a VIP after I left? Prices are kept low because of the competition. Lots of new girls because it is one of only 2 clubs they can work at with out a $300 license and a back ground check.

One can argue Follies has the right price and most other places are just too overinflated expensive.

Like in Detroit, it's a whorehouse. Look around. Do the girls look expensive? Does it look like big money is walking in?

From what I understand things are just generally cheaper in the south.

sc, I'm saving myself for the DS but several offers.

they don't look high end but lots of them don't look as cheap as they are

other clubs in the south aren't this cheap

Papi, good theory but I don't think it makes economic sense. 90% of a category of businesses couldn't be overpriced.

The one thing most strippers generally are smart about is hustling for every dollar they can get out of their customer. My guess is that the market has set the price for maximizing their take home pay.

FYI, I don't lump the ladies who contribute in hear as belonging to those I classify as most strippers.

Did you hear about the new $3 million Georgia lottery?

Is Follies a blue collar strip club? Or is it mixed white/blue collar custies? I'm just curious.

Volume is what it's all about. It's something socialists don't understand. A socialist acts like certain strip clubs nd dancers that think, we don't have many customers, we need to tax them or charge them as high as prices as we can so we can get more income for the club and dancers, aka government for socialists. Taxes or rates go up less customers buy, the total income of the club and dancers ends up shrinking, some dancers quit or are let go. On a nationwide scale the economy shrinks or doesn't grow. Socialists think the new solution is to tax more and more or a club would charge more and more.

Capitalists decrease prices and increase economic activity by getting customers to buy lots of dances. Instead of sitting around waiting to buy a two for one dance once an hour if you happen to get asked by a dancer you like, you buy dances around the clock. I spent a whole lot more money at Platinum Plus than I ever spent at Lust because dance prices dropped to 2 for 30 anytime and even 2 for 20. I wasn't having sex at those prices. LE had to spend 2 grand a visit to crack the dancers and club. Lots of customers visited because it was fun and prices were lower per dance. I could get 20 dances in less than 2 hours if I wanted at cheap prices.

At Lust, I'm doing good if I had a total of 4 dances in two hours. They do announced two for ones once an hour and the number of dancers isn't that high. Plus they have limited seating in the lap dance area. If a club makes $5 every two dances, then multiply 4 dances in 2 hours or multiply say 8 or 20 dances in 2 hours but cut the club take to say 4 dollars every two, lust collected 10 bucks from me in 2 hours, pp got between 16 to 40. Increase the number of customers and dancers and your economy expands.

In effect, lower taxes or lower more frequent less costly dances yields greater quantity and more income for a club and more income for dancers. In many clubs as with socialists, they want all the money without all the work, everyone loses money. It's all about volume and economics.

I could add there is a balance between club income and getting the club so crowded customers don't like it. Sofas and chairs wear out super fast too. It's like roads wearing out 3 times faster with 10 times the former traffic. Some come up with a solution to raise prices and go socialist, infrastructure doesn't wear out as fast. It's more economical to fix the roads or club furniture if your economic activity is 4 times higher and your net income is a lot higher with all the extra volume. Dancers could be asked initially to ask for high dance prices in case high rollers visit a club, aka law enforcement officers willing to spend 2k a pop.

I can imagine if LE visited burger king and offered a 1000 tip with their order of fries and burger, they might get an employee to do some illegal sexual activity. They could shut down burger king or many other places for half the money they spent at the strip club. They blew it all off saying they used confiscated drug money. The only thing they proved in my opinion is that the rich can get just about whatever they want but it costs a whole lot more than normal at strip clubs if you go in trying to buy it.
