Taking Uber to a Vegas club

At most clubs in Vegas you can get in for free/cheaper if you drive yourself or just not arrive by cab (because of the kickbacks to cab drivers). What is the situation like if you arrive with Uber? The logical thing would be for that to count as if you drive yourself, but I guess they might still try to charge the higher cover?

In Vegas if you have to ask, you can't afford it.

Call the club and ask

I'd call and ask but i wouldn't doubt it if you still have to pay the $30.

I would only take your friend Uber if he's into strip-clubs; o/w it's a waste of time.

Never took an Uber to a club, but took one from a club. Fucking stupid lazy Vegas cabbies wouldn't come to Lil D's (waited over an hour) so I called Uber. Second best decision I made that day. The best decision was taking a latina MILF to VIP @ OG's.

I doubt it would get you out of the cover. Call the club, they'll probably come pick you up for free.

I nearly always drive to Vegas clubs. It's okay getting the limo, the only way to get free entry, but you then have to put up with the hard sell from the taxi driver pushing escorts on behalf of a ROB that runs most of the Vegas escorts. When I say hard sell its at the point of being too much.

Rules for Vegas 1 - If you have to ask - stay home - you can't afford it. 2 - at least last year (they change hourly) - call the club and get the FREE LIMO "TO THE CLUB" - and take a cab back. Last i checked Uber still can't pickup near the strip area. Some get picky at peak times - and save money for cab BACK! 3 - The free if drive REALLY varies - typically they ask ID and if out of state - you pay

If it's just you - and you plan on drinking - get the free limo - and enjoy your time. Don't risk it and drive - and that being said - walking back to something like Venetian on a nice night isn't bad from Rhino. I've only had once driving over that guy saw me pull up and said - local - no charge - it was also late afternoon.

Unless you have a nevada state drivers license no matter how you're going to arrive at the club you're likely going to be paying a cover charge. They can range from $10 to $60 in my experiences, although some clubs will charge no cover at all if they are slow.
