He's not a troll at all. He speaks inconvenient truths. I cal that a "Reality Monitor".
He's almost right about Casablanca too. The script, while based on the play, was written every night for the next day's shooting. The final scene was going to be shot twice, with Rick getting the girl or not. The film version so impressed the director that the scene where Elsa and Rick take the plane was never shot.
I'm not sure about hot dogs in a crockpot for a week though! lol
