Friday in my favorite club one of my new favorites asked me if she would hurt me if she climbed up on my lap. I was sitting in one of those high bar stool type chairs. I doubt that she weighed more than 110 lbs so I told her to go ahead and she did. It was enjoyable mostly because even in this club that is usually a "no no". There are still clubs that require this? The last time I recall a club enforcing this was over ten years ago. The closest that I have seen to this, is where the clubs will remind the dancers to remove their shoes if they want to get their feet off the floor.
There's no rule requiring the dancer's feet to be on the floor during a dance in any clubs in my area.

I have only seen the rule enforced occasionally in the front room where dances (table dances, bar stool dances, chair dances etc) were occurring in public. Absolutely never in vip or private lap dances. It is usually only enforced in some of the $5 titty bar dance clubs like Desirees Norton, Gatsbys Akron/Canton, City Limits Canton etc. Depending who the bar tender is.
They dont have the feet on the floor rules in my area. Sounds to me like that is more of an east coast thing. In my area they will stop a dancer that is grinding too much sometimes though

At most clubs in S FL if the dance is at a bar stool it will be a table dance hence s/b all nude and the girl won't get on you. Table dances are cheaper than lap dances and the club gets no cut so getting effectively a lap dance at table dance prices is a good deal.
A few black clubs here will do naked lap dances for $10 instead of $5 table dance prices.

The only club that I have ever been to that enforced the 2 feet on the floor rule was The Wild Goose near LAX, which has since closed down. I also get a lot of dancers that ask if it's ok to put their full weight on me, like I'm some kind of delicate flower that will break under all 115lbs of her. Funny but the bigger girls (in the 140-150lb range) never seem to be too concerned and jump right on top of me.
Yeah; IME this is usually an issue (whether it's allowed or not) in clubs with floor-dances/dances-on-main-floor.
AFAIK shadow gets all his floor-dances on a high-chair/barstool; so it would be sorta uncommon in that scenario.
The black clubs in Miami are often anything goes on the floor (even discrete FS) – most of these clubs don't have a lot of seating and most dances are barside on barstools; and yeah; I've had a few ebonies; even some built 150-pounders (phat not fat) get on me FCG on a barstool and feet off the ground and ride my erect little-Papi – of course I've been hitting all-black clubs consistently for about a dozen years now so I've developed a resistance to da thick ebony pounding and grinding (and me likes; many of those ebonies are so strong and athletic that they can do some serious floor dance moves).

In very regulated places, yes of course that is a common rule.
But at a place where girls can sit on your lap. then such a rule means nothing.

At my club they briefly tried to enforce a one foot on the floor rule for lap dances. It was quickly abandoned, at least for dayshift. Sadly they are bikini dances where you just get quick flashes of nudity normally.
