This is why you leave a base and some troops in a country that you took over. To prevent a radical group from taking over because you withdrew too quickly.
We still have bases in Japan and Germany but those are examples of overkill.

During WWIi, when we were at war with Japan, not only did the US not take in thousands of refugees from Japan, we took Japanese Americans who had been living here for years and locked them up in camps. No one is saying to do that.
What's even worse, some of the same people who think like Obama or probably voted for him now are possible targets to get recruited.
