I have noticed some here in the Puget Sound Region. I can tell only because I already knew that they were escorting (just two former dancers I know) or I can easily discern a strip club dressing room in the background of their photos. In the latter situation, most cases I don't know if they're currently dancing. Those dressing room photos could have dated to when they *were* dancing.
Yes and one used to my my regular girl. I usually don't see strippers i know on there but i don't view backpage that often. I think it is the one's you can't strip anymore for whatever reason. i imagine they would prefer to strip as long as the money is still good.
Well – there are plenty of extras girls – so not too much of a stretch to phantom they also do escorting to supplement their income.

Because in my area the "stripper" section all that posts are agencies.... like AA-1 strippers. Now I have seen strippers I know in the club post in the escort section. And yes I saw her OTC.... well she offered take out. So I didn't call the ad.
These days there are a lot more faux pictures, but about 14 months ago there was a rotation of 10 local dancers "in transition" advertising on backpage.
I look at BP ads, I have yet to call, probably never will, but for some reason I like to look. Maybe it makes the SC scene look better. I once had a nice VIP extras session, got the digits. Called the next day, she wanted $500 for OTC. I didn't go for it. She moved to a different club in town, is even pictured on their website. Then she disappeared from the clubs. She shows up on BP and other escort sites occasionally, but not for awhile.
I've also seen an escort ad where the girl said to come see her at the SC. I think the owners found out and fired her.
There are a few local strippers who also advertise on BP. Some of them even show their faces. IMO, there's now way, short of supreme indifference or brain dead incompetence that that clubs don't know they are escorting.
One of them is locally thought to be one of the best escorts in the area. I've never called her because, while her body *is* smoking hot, and breasts are fake, and hard as rocks. In addition, her face just doesn't do it for me, and she charges about twice what I think even good pussy ought to cost.
I haven't seen a stripper that posted on backpage. The clubs I usually go to generally have that covered so they don't have to. The only places near me are on the Baltimore Block (sure thing extras in VIP). I have had a few of them claim to do the BP thing before they started working there and a few times I got their number after a VIP session for an "unrushed" visit. Plenty of rooms around the area that rent by the hour. I've been comfortable enough doing this that I don't really need to sift through a lot of the BS that comes with BP posts. Maybe I'll try it out on a trip to Hawaii that I have coming up where I hear the club milage is awful compared to what I'm used to.
^^^^ Local law enforcement patrol the site looking to pick off providers and johns, especially when big sporting events(Super Bowl) come to town, or when it's election year like it is now. Google "Backpage" and go under "Adult services". You can openly find "escort services" advertising with pics.
I personally enjoy browsing the ads for pics and try to pick out the LE from the legitimate providers.
Aside from everyone's favorite "high volume ho-ah vs low-volume princess" stripper argument, I would have guessed that a stripper from backpage is the WORST of all worlds: a typical stripper's lack of professionalism and ability to show up on time, with an escort's business model of "It's $X per hour for my time, and I will charge you for every second we're together". The thing I like about strippers OTC is that she charges me for the sex act, but spends the preceding 3 hours drinking and partying with me without charging me for that time -- and that's what makes it valuable to me, even though I realize that it's a gamble on whether or not she actually shows up.

Good question Estafador, which is why I "try" to pick them out. If you go on your local USA sex guide board, there are several members that will opine from their experiences or even flat out tell you their brushes with the law have been. It's fun because the members will sometimes provide good details how shady a backpage ad was and a nervous feeling they got before backing out. I've never done backpage myself so have no experience to draw from, it's just fun assuming from the intelligence I've gathered from "USA sex guide".
@subraman well i mean, they ARE more lively when you use them EXCLUSIVELY for a lap dance VIP session. They dance first and everything else you want comes after. Up to your discretion. I've done it once, and MAN she danced like saw at the strip club.
I don't go to Backpage a lot because it's like panning for gold under an outhouse. But I'm sure that there are some dancers who supplement their income that way.
A few years ago, a strip club in Providence, RI, that was notorious for extras got shut down. Almost immediately after that, it was amazing how many familiar tattoos showed up on Backpage (because most Backpage girls obscure their faces somehow).
