Do you like dance contests at your favorite clubs? I must say that I do because the contestants are more motivated to give us a good show than are the regulars. On the other hand, I have seen absolutely beautiful girls at contests and did not have a chance to find out where they dance regularly, if at all.

If I were on the fence about whether to go to a club, a contest night would lead me to stay home. Too much distraction from the business at hand.
90% of strippers can't dance. No wonder dance contests are boring.
Assuming what you mean is amateur night, I agree on the one hand it's phony because they are simply dancers from elsewhere, but I went to one once where they had a genuine amateur and she was a riot. She didn't win, partly because she was a little too full-figured, but it was funny. She seemed to be having fun.
