about 2 hours ago there was an 8.3 earthquake in Illapel, Coquimbo Chile (near Valparaiso). since then there have been aftershocks of 6.3, 6.1, 6.2, 6.4, 5.7, 5.3, and 5.2 all at a depth of only 10 kms. tsunami warnings have been issued
this is not good…it will unfortunately likely leave much more than just a mark

Good luck to the folks in the earthquake and tsunami areas.
Same fault runs up the west coast all the way to the mouth of the Columbia. Only a matter of time.
