Chump Stuff! Nevada Houses

money was invented for handing to women, but buying dances is a chump's game

I got into a discussion with a casual friend. I was explaining to him that organized crime doesn't depend on selling vice in backrooms anymore. They figured out decades ago that if they can get gambling legalized then even though the profit margins will be lower, they can still make much more from real estate, construction, and corrupted unions. I explained that Meyer Lansky was the financial brains behind Las Vegas and Bautista's Cuba.
My friend started going on about them getting prostitution legalized. I explained that except for the Nevada House's, it isn't legal anywhere else in the entire country. Those houses are relatively few in number and they are having a very hard time competing with strip clubs. I told him about how in most of the country there are strip clubs with very OTC ready dancers, and that Santa Clara County is rather unusual, with the strict no touching clubs, and that even in these there are OTC ready dancers.
He started going on about how dangerous doing stripper OTC would be because the girls are not licensed and tested.
He is from Nevada and has a long history with their legal houses. He has been to all the well known ones and lots of others which are now gone.
So I wanted to ask him about two issues. 1. Do they still do the parlor lineups where there is no free form and physical fraternizing, so it is not like a strip club? 2. Is it still just about impossible to see a girl off site without paying preposterous house fees, mostly because the girls live on site?
This guy never even let me state my questions, because they are coming at this from a perspective he seems not to understand.
So he went on to explain how it goes. He explained about getting buzzed in at the front gate and being greeted by the Madam at the front door and being asked, "Do you want to see a lineup?"
Apparently if you say no then you can order a drink and hang out and there will be some girls coming and going that you can talk to and might offer to buy a drink for.
If you then say yes, then the line up forms and the madam will ask, "Do you see anything you like?"
So then you can sit and buy a drink for that girl and talk with her and see if any agreement can be reached. If yes, you go with her into the session room and only then do you talk about price.
I asked about how friendly you can get, and can it be physical friendliness. "Oh no, you can't do any touching in the front room."
I told him that that is a clip joint.
I asked about seeing the girls off site. He kept emphasizing that everything is negotiable. But I kept asking about the house fees and how they are sometimes posted and they are preposterous. I explained that on the web sites they tell perspective employees that girls have to be "ready to work at any time day or night."
He went on to tell me about once having to go all the way out to a 4th selection. He selected one and talked with her and she for some reason didn't like him. This is what he says. So nothing happened, then a 2nd, then a 3rd, and finally with the 4th she seemed to like him.
I told him that that is ridiculous. It is chump stuff to go on with it. I told him that if you select one girl and she snubs you, then being the consummate gentleman you are, you stand up, bid her good day, and walk out the front door. You don't make a second selection, not when you have been disrespected.
I explained that that sort of selection process, plus there being no realistic potential of outside contact, ruins the type or relationship you can have with the girl. He says, "You aren't look for a relationship. I've got so much money in my wallet and I know what I want."
So I told him that what you get will never be very good when approached that way.
I now believe that this man, in his mid 50's, has never in his life had a civilian girlfriend.
Then he started going on and on about how if I haven't been to these houses and if I don't have thousands of dollars to spend, then I could not possibly know.
I explained, "Just based on what you are descriging, I would not want to do that, even for free."
He kept going on and on that if don't have the experience in those houses, then I could not know.
Well of course being on TUSCL now for over a year and seeing how hard it is to talk about such stuff, even with a privacy firewall and with some safety distance being provided by virtue of it being online. I was certainly not stupid enough to chronicle what I have and have not done and how my views have been formed, and just to gain approval from such a person.
He explained that for Japanese travelers, presumed to be rich, some of the girls will hand them their own menus, staring with things like "Trip around the world, $5,000".
Well, this is also quite stupid. There are lots of girls who would be happy to accompany someone on a trip around the world. If you are going to be spending that much time with her, then you better know her well. It is totally different from someone just trying to make something happen immediately. Actually, there have been lots of Sunnyvale strippers who would have been exhilarated at the chance of talking such a trip with me. If I hadn't of been married and hadn't of had other things I want to be doing, it might have been.
But anyway, as I clearly was not going to discuss something like this with him face to face, I just repeated that what he was describing was chump stuff and it is exactly why most people don't like those Nevada houses. I tried to explain about how they have the Wild Horse Cabaret at the Mustang Ranch, and so they are trying to move towards a strip club instead of parlor selection process. But he wouldn't even hear of this as he has never even considered the underlying issues, just believing that it is all about money and money alone.
Not having any interest in debating this guy and holding to my experience that what he was describing is Chump Stuff, I tried to excuse myself and he followed me into a super market. I held to my position and he got madder and madder and he kept on following me and talking at me.
I am convinced now that there are a lot of people who have little civilian girlfriend experience and who take the ways that P4P sex is offered completely at face value.
It never was possible to get much info from this guy about the two specific areas I was curious.
Oh well, this guy is like many people, just totally out of it. I believe that this is a specifically Middle-Class White Man's disease.
This guy is always filing patent applications. Most of his stuff sounds like nonsense, applying for patents dealing with things he knows nothing about. When he explains them to me, I always respond by coming back with specific references to books, in case he wants to actually learn something about that field. Many of his patents are for perpetual motion machines.
It is a screwed up world that we live in, and lots of people have been made to suffer and are kept in the dark.

I'm a couple days behind on this forum. I was involved in a celebration of California's Admissions Day, 9/9/1850. It was actually part of the 5 point compromise of 1850. 1. California admitted as a free state. 2. Texas admitted as a slave state. Mexico had fought and won it's independence from Spain. They saw the Anglo plantations being set up. They did not want this, so they outlawed slavery. So with US backing, Texas seceded.
3. Outlawing the buying and selling of slaves in Washington D.C.. The two story slave jail had been an international embarrassment. But still allowing the practice of slavery.
4. . What would prove to be completely unworkable and would escalate the conflict, the decision to use Popular Sovereignty to decide on slavery, in New Mexico and Utah territories. Deciding slavery by voting!
5. What was the very most controversial, and immediately, the Fugitive Slave Act. So now anyone aiding escaped slaves was in violation of federal law. This would immediately result in violent conflicts with federal authorities in Boston and New York's cities.
It was a screwed up world back then, and it is still screwed up today.
