Chump Stuff! Nevada Houses

san_jose_guy
money was invented for handing to women, but buying dances is a chump's game
Thursday, September 10, 2015 12:37 PM
I got into a discussion with a casual friend. I was explaining to him that organized crime doesn't depend on selling vice in backrooms anymore. They figured out decades ago that if they can get gambling legalized then even though the profit margins will be lower, they can still make much more from real estate, construction, and corrupted unions. I explained that Meyer Lansky was the financial brains behind Las Vegas and Bautista's Cuba. My friend started going on about them getting prostitution legalized. I explained that except for the Nevada House's, it isn't legal anywhere else in the entire country. Those houses are relatively few in number and they are having a very hard time competing with strip clubs. I told him about how in most of the country there are strip clubs with very OTC ready dancers, and that Santa Clara County is rather unusual, with the strict no touching clubs, and that even in these there are OTC ready dancers. He started going on about how dangerous doing stripper OTC would be because the girls are not licensed and tested. He is from Nevada and has a long history with their legal houses. He has been to all the well known ones and lots of others which are now gone. So I wanted to ask him about two issues. 1. Do they still do the parlor lineups where there is no free form and physical fraternizing, so it is not like a strip club? 2. Is it still just about impossible to see a girl off site without paying preposterous house fees, mostly because the girls live on site? This guy never even let me state my questions, because they are coming at this from a perspective he seems not to understand. So he went on to explain how it goes. He explained about getting buzzed in at the front gate and being greeted by the Madam at the front door and being asked, "Do you want to see a lineup?" Apparently if you say no then you can order a drink and hang out and there will be some girls coming and going that you can talk to and might offer to buy a drink for. If you then say yes, then the line up forms and the madam will ask, "Do you see anything you like?" So then you can sit and buy a drink for that girl and talk with her and see if any agreement can be reached. If yes, you go with her into the session room and only then do you talk about price. I asked about how friendly you can get, and can it be physical friendliness. "Oh no, you can't do any touching in the front room." I told him that that is a clip joint. I asked about seeing the girls off site. He kept emphasizing that everything is negotiable. But I kept asking about the house fees and how they are sometimes posted and they are preposterous. I explained that on the web sites they tell perspective employees that girls have to be "ready to work at any time day or night." He went on to tell me about once having to go all the way out to a 4th selection. He selected one and talked with her and she for some reason didn't like him. This is what he says. So nothing happened, then a 2nd, then a 3rd, and finally with the 4th she seemed to like him. I told him that that is ridiculous. It is chump stuff to go on with it. I told him that if you select one girl and she snubs you, then being the consummate gentleman you are, you stand up, bid her good day, and walk out the front door. You don't make a second selection, not when you have been disrespected. I explained that that sort of selection process, plus there being no realistic potential of outside contact, ruins the type or relationship you can have with the girl. He says, "You aren't look for a relationship. I've got so much money in my wallet and I know what I want." So I told him that what you get will never be very good when approached that way. I now believe that this man, in his mid 50's, has never in his life had a civilian girlfriend. Then he started going on and on about how if I haven't been to these houses and if I don't have thousands of dollars to spend, then I could not possibly know. I explained, "Just based on what you are descriging, I would not want to do that, even for free." He kept going on and on that if don't have the experience in those houses, then I could not know. Well of course being on TUSCL now for over a year and seeing how hard it is to talk about such stuff, even with a privacy firewall and with some safety distance being provided by virtue of it being online. I was certainly not stupid enough to chronicle what I have and have not done and how my views have been formed, and just to gain approval from such a person. He explained that for Japanese travelers, presumed to be rich, some of the girls will hand them their own menus, staring with things like "Trip around the world, $5,000". Well, this is also quite stupid. There are lots of girls who would be happy to accompany someone on a trip around the world. If you are going to be spending that much time with her, then you better know her well. It is totally different from someone just trying to make something happen immediately. Actually, there have been lots of Sunnyvale strippers who would have been exhilarated at the chance of talking such a trip with me. If I hadn't of been married and hadn't of had other things I want to be doing, it might have been. But anyway, as I clearly was not going to discuss something like this with him face to face, I just repeated that what he was describing was chump stuff and it is exactly why most people don't like those Nevada houses. I tried to explain about how they have the Wild Horse Cabaret at the Mustang Ranch, and so they are trying to move towards a strip club instead of parlor selection process. But he wouldn't even hear of this as he has never even considered the underlying issues, just believing that it is all about money and money alone. Not having any interest in debating this guy and holding to my experience that what he was describing is Chump Stuff, I tried to excuse myself and he followed me into a super market. I held to my position and he got madder and madder and he kept on following me and talking at me. I am convinced now that there are a lot of people who have little civilian girlfriend experience and who take the ways that P4P sex is offered completely at face value. It never was possible to get much info from this guy about the two specific areas I was curious. Oh well, this guy is like many people, just totally out of it. I believe that this is a specifically Middle-Class White Man's disease. This guy is always filing patent applications. Most of his stuff sounds like nonsense, applying for patents dealing with things he knows nothing about. When he explains them to me, I always respond by coming back with specific references to books, in case he wants to actually learn something about that field. Many of his patents are for perpetual motion machines. It is a screwed up world that we live in, and lots of people have been made to suffer and are kept in the dark. SJG [view link] I'm a couple days behind on this forum. I was involved in a celebration of California's Admissions Day, 9/9/1850. It was actually part of the 5 point compromise of 1850. 1. California admitted as a free state. 2. Texas admitted as a slave state. Mexico had fought and won it's independence from Spain. They saw the Anglo plantations being set up. They did not want this, so they outlawed slavery. So with US backing, Texas seceded. 3. Outlawing the buying and selling of slaves in Washington D.C.. The two story slave jail had been an international embarrassment. But still allowing the practice of slavery. 4. . What would prove to be completely unworkable and would escalate the conflict, the decision to use Popular Sovereignty to decide on slavery, in New Mexico and Utah territories. Deciding slavery by voting! 5. What was the very most controversial, and immediately, the Fugitive Slave Act. So now anyone aiding escaped slaves was in violation of federal law. This would immediately result in violent conflicts with federal authorities in Boston and New York's cities. It was a screwed up world back then, and it is still screwed up today. I never said I went on any such trip. I said that there have been lots of Sunnyvale dancers who would have loved to go on such a trip with me. They wouldn't have needed to have been paid. But to try and set it up with a girl you are paying because you don't know her, would be pretty stupid. More importantly, this friend of mine is stupid because of the sort of selection process he goes through with the girls in these Nevada houses, as that ruins what might happen with them. I don't think of it as "chump stuff". I think you're being too judgmental. Not everyone is looking for more of an emotional connection or repeat business with a sex worker. Some guys just want to bust a nut and move on to the next one and have no desire for OTC.

If this friend had visited those places as often as he said he would be giving a different story. What he mentioned sounds a lot like the BS that is mentioned on the SIN website. I used to frequent the nevada brothels years ago before most of the big ones got bought out by Dennis Hof. They would quote high at first but most would do you for about the same price as a Vegas Escort. Sex was no safer there than with a local escort. While they would spout a lot of dafe sex propoganda about no activity without a condom, many would give BBBJs, every one would say "Now don't tell anyone I am technically not allowed to do this." The parlors especially in the daytime were a lot like strip clubs. I had gotten quite a few "stripper handshakes" at both the Sagebrush and Kit Kat before they got bought out. Elko clubs were anything goes

rl27, Thanks for the info. More like a strip club sounds good. That is of course the main area for improvement. The parlors and the line ups are like the Wild Wild West. Stripper hand shakes? How about front room tipping and front room lap sitting and front room makeout sessions? Getting to be like the Hong Kong bar? Dr. F.'s Girl by Girl Account: [view link] How about at the Mustang Ranch with their Wildhorse Cabaret? Front room lap sitting and make out sessions? Going to a strip club instead of parlor front room is of course exactly what is needed. How about getting the girls off site? Do they live at the property? That makes it harder of course. If say they were strippers, then off site it is just between you and the girl. Having the chance of seeing the girl off site is good, but also it will likely improve your experience with her on site, even that first time. SIN website? I don't know about this. About my friend, I believe he is telling the truth. This is why he got so angry when I told him that what he was describing was chump stuff. But he is just like much of the population, someone who does not understand. Why would a girl turn him down? He says it was because he didn't like him. And then 2 more girls? Does not make sense. He is average looking and actually athletically built. But he is just a chump. Anyway, if you select one girl and she snubs you, you stand up and leave. You can't select another because she will know that she is not your first choice, and that your first choice must have turned you down for good reason. rl27, thanks for reading my post and giving such a topical and constructive response. I value that, and I value your experience. I wish more people on TUSCL were like this. Grinddawg wrote: "Not everyone is looking for more of an emotional connection or repeat business with a sex worker. Some guys just want to bust a nut and move on to the next one and have no desire for OTC. " If I am with a girl I like, I probably will want to see her again. And likewise, the prospect of that is likely to change how much she opens up to me. This is part of sex. When a girl is with a guy she really likes she will want to open up, and this is what makes the sex good. Sex is not rational. I mean, for most of human evolution sex for women has meant pregnancy and a substantial risk of death during childbirth. They will give it up, but money alone is rarely enough for this. They have to like you and they have to believe that you like them and that you will be seeing them again. And likewise, if you do like them, then why would you not want to open up to them and be seeing them again? If this does not apply to a particular girl, then why not keep shopping until you find one to whom it does apply, one you actually like? In the sex biz they do what they need to do to make a living. But this does not mean that you have to take the way that it is offered at face value. SJG [view link]

I don't want to open up to a stripper because that's not what I'm there for. I view the dynamics as that of a business relationship. I'm paying for a service. Yes, service will improve with greater rapport, but over time it will become boring and I will find another one. If I wanted a genuine connection, I would seek out a woman who does not sell physical intimacy.
  • san_jose_guy
I think sometime if you had a civilian girlfriend, you would appreciate better how physical and emotional intimacy go. Likewise, you aren't going to get very far in P4P situations if you look at it as selling physical intimacy. You aren't in a position to engage with the women. They service you because that is how they make money. But that does not mean that they are going to like you. SJG

San Jose Guy. The last time I went the parlors were not nearly as fun as they were previous times. Sagebrush and Kit Kat are now owned by Dennis Hof and he won't allow any play in the parlor. Last time I was at the Mustang the atmosphere in the bar area was quite fun, the gal I chose sat down on me and wiggled her but very nicely in my crotch. Strangely they treated lineups just as stupidly as the other ranches. Sit down and each woman heads in and says her name and steps back. All done so that one gal doesn't stand out from another. The gals didn't seem to like it any more than the customers from the whispered comments I heard from several. SIN stands for Sex in Nevada. It started out as a web site where regular customers could post information about the brothels and women who worked there. Unfortunately the posters and moderators at the site are so pussy whipped by the brothels they don't like mentioning anything that goes against what the ranch owners deem appropriate and will bring down the ban hammer to anyone who posts what really occurs there. The larger brothels including the Mustang try to cater to the big spenders, which means the hotter gals I would consider are going to want $750 or more per hour, especially during the evening, and will refuse lower prices. Which is why I avoid Dennis Hof owned brothels. Unfortunately he owns every brothel but the Mustang in Reno, and is slowly been buying up the Vegas brothels. The brothels are currently a rip off, unless you can find a gal who doesn't tow the party line. The other problem is the brothels take a 50% cut of what you pay for a session. So if you pay $300 the woman gets $150 of that minus other added costs. They used to reduce the cut after so many sessions in a month, but stopped doing that and started adding other BS charges to the gals. Which is why if you go now you'll likely see a bunch of bored angry gals sitting in the parlor. Which is why I hope to never see the Nevada model adopted if any other state legalizes or decriminalized prostitution.

"There was an over abundance of food supply during the Great Depression" therefore it was the force of economics that caused so many people to starve. Anyone who's read about our Nation's history want to confirm that theory?

@rl27 wrote, " Sagebrush and Kit Kat are now owned by Dennis Hof and he won't allow any play in the parlor. " Yes, indeed, you are one who knows; how much front room play you can have before committing, is the best predictor of how well things will go in any back rooms. It is not just that you have the power of still declining, though this is part of it. It is also just that you can have a more unstructured interaction with the girl, and you can see if she will open up to you or not. You anticipated my next question, about whether or not Dennis Hof's ownership would influence whether or not you patronized a house. He has always rubbed me the wrong way. Prohibiting front room friendliness is the hallmark of a clip joint, selling more fantasy than delivery. If that Deja Vu Chicken Ranch in Pahrump still operates, it would not surprise me at all if they prohibit front room play. It is obvious that the girls don't like line ups. No one would. Line ups are a horrible way of starting the encounter. Thanks for the heads up about the high pricing. I had heard about the 50% house cuts before. People say that the rooms are bugged. So obviously the only way would be to quickly start seeing a girl offsite. But if they actually live on the premises, then this would be impractical. Again, Chump Stuff! Of Elko, there was one that I had taken note of, and then another at Scotty's Junction. Both gone now. Competition from strip clubs and indys must be doing it, driving these places under. What does look promising is that the Mustang Ranch has it's Wild Horse Cabaret, a kind of a strip club. Ideally it will be a place of front room friendliness. Dr. F.'s Girl by Girl Account of front room friendliness. [view link] Meursault and DoctorPhil, it would be easier to have worthwhile conversations on this forum if the both of you could learn to keep your negative meta to yourselves, and then only post when you have something to say which would further the conversation. @Meat72, this would be better handled on the other thread. But since you post it here, I have been reading some of: The Great Depression by T. H. Watkins [view link] This subject of their being hunger and starvation during the Great Depression is a complex one. But that there were gross agricultural surpluses throughout the entire country is beyond refute. Herbert Hoover and his people kept saying, "No one has died of starvation yet." This is a way you could interpret it. People were dying everywhere all the time, but this is normal. What the Watkins book says is that people were dying from diseases caused by malnutrition. This is a more indirect way of putting it. But there had always been malnutrition in the United States. There still is. Some of the most extreme was revealed in 1967 when Robert F. Kennedy toured the Mississippi Delta. I think it was the area around Clarksdale and Cleveland, more correctly referred to as a Back Delta. This was when Peter Edelman and Marion Wright first met. What they found were diseases caused by malnutrition which were thought not to have even existed in the United States. And further, this was after the establishment of the federal Food Stamps program. Mississippi was refusing to distribute the benefits! Even though it would cost them nothing and the money would recirculate and boost their economy, they refused. This was just after the Voting Rights Act had passed, and so they knew that they could not control the elections as before, so they wanted to starve Blacks out of the state. In the Watkins book it quotes something saying that 20% of children were not getting enough of the right food. They show a picture they describe as seemingly healthy and well feed children in East Tennessee. Well yes, in Appalachia there has always been a malnutrition problem. It is partly economic, but partly it is just cultural. Here, a family originally from West Virginia where gross under nourishment is used to bet attention from medical doctors and to subordinate a child. It is rather like how religion uses the concept of Original Sin. [view link] My point here is that there as always been hunger and malnutrition in the United States, and always amidst agricultural surpluses. I don't think it is much different today. In accounts of the Great Depression there is often mention of this special department that the FDR Administration opened up, to answer letters asking nutritional advice. They were really startled by the volume of the letters and the intensity of the questions. Now during the Great Depression the level of fear was intense, as no one knew what was going to happen or how there would be light at the end of the tunnel, and as Herbert Hoover did little. But things changed March 4th, 1933, when FDR was inaugurated. That day was still bleak, as most banks had declared holidays and so you could not get your money out. Though only a few had actually collapsed, they were all in danger of it if they reopened. Any bank would fall right away if subjected to a run. So right away FDR acted to prop up and reopen the banks, and in the end no depositor lost even one penny. He also acted to supply food, without delay and without there ever being an interruption. But what they found was people were psychologically traumatized by the process of applying for relief. It was a source of monumental shame. So they explain of women applying and the word 'work' being used several times per sentence. Actually in the 1933 and '34 winter, FDR did set up a special office to provide relief plus work for women. But this makes the relief project more complicated. No difference today. Most of this was run by Harry Hopkins. But even given all this, as late as 1940 there was still an unemployment rate of 15%. Now in Iowa what farmers were angry about were the farm foreclosures. They weren't going to sit on the sidelines and watch it happen. In one case they stormed into a court house and surrounded the bank's attorney and forced him to accept a pittance of a settlement. Then they took him outside and forced him to kneel down and kiss the flag. They that had the Sherriff and each of his Deputies do the same thing. Other times they just assembled when a farm was going to be auctioned off and hung up nooses. They were saying that you don't want to try to buy and hold that property. They called these penny auctions. The bidding started at .1 and never went over .25, so the original owner could easily buy the property back. I know people whose family lost farms in California by bank repositions during the Great Depression. So as the FDR Admin acted at once to stabilize farm prices, they needed to limit production because gross surpluses were the problem. So they had 6 million young pigs slaughtered and destroyed them. People were outraged. So from that point on, they never did it that way again. They always redistributed what they had bought up. This was a time when people had to learn a different ethic. Otherwise they probably would be starving amidst gross agricultural surpluses. The fear level was intense, and this could lead people to starve, because the shame of being without work or money was that great. But hope returned March 4, 1933. [view link] As long was we keep backing these Ponzi Scheme financial markets and there over consumption and living beyond ones means economies, we will always be facing recessions and depressions. We need to stop this and change how our economic system is structured. So the sooner we let what financial crash is coming happen, the better! @rl27, I had previously taken notice of this place in Winnemucca. It has more girls now than it did before, and of course I noticed that it is has something like a strip club for it's entrance. [view link] The strip club entrance should let the place be as good as anything you will find anywhere in the country. They say it is open 24/7, but I would certainly not want to be rousting their girls in the small hours of the night. I wonder if this might be like what you described at Elko, lots of front room fun? Anyway, your insights about these places are keen. And thanks for the heads up about Dennis Hof. Of that girl who was omitting the condom and telling you not to tell anyone. She was actually trying to make it nice with you. Most of the posted stories about these Nevada places are negative. Anyway, I'm not sure if you've encountered such negative meta trolls on threads before. It is nothing new. One just has to ignore them. Here it says of their strip club like lounge, "A Nude gentlemen's nightclub with live stage shows and private nude dance room. A pool table where you can play a game of pool have a drink or get laid. You may want to have a hot sexy dance with one of our sexy ladies. ask her about a dance with happy ending." Well, getting laid on the pool table suggests that anything goes in the front room. So it should be possible to get extremely friendly with just strip club style tipping, and then set up the session with the girl and retreat to the session room. This should be extremely good. It should be. SJG

Ahkashas? This might be a girl who used to advertise in RedBook, out of Oakland. She gave fully GFE / MSOG sessions, for I think $350 per hour. They say the apartment was set up like a temple to herself. She had video screens or slide projectors which showed nude images of her all around on the walls. Then she announced that she was retiring. Pictures look like the same girl. [view link] This shop's gallery is much bigger than it used to be. And of course Winnemucca is a highway junction. SJG

Aaaah yes, another blast from the past. I've been to several Nevada brothels over the years, none recently. I'll spend my money at a strip club ITC or outside OTC before returning to the brothels. From what one of my buddies says, Dennis Hof controls just about all of them out there now, My last visits showed me how expensive it is. I can do way better with local Detwaa babes.

As I see it the issues are as follows: 1. Decent facility, not reeking of tobacco smoke. 2. Decent women, not reeking of tobacco smoke. 3. Free form front room fraternizing, likely leading to girl on your lap and makeout session, like at the best strip clubs. There is cost to this, but it is well worth it. Some of these places even have stages and poles. But can things happen in the front room? This is not just test driving, it is building intimacy with your girl. 4. Reasonable prices, about like a strip club. 5. Girls do not live on site, so if they are willing you can see them off hours and no money goes to house. One reason for needing this is because out on highway 80, there is not much in the way of strip clubs. Just these houses. And the big ones and the Dennis Hof ones people claim are too controlled. Lineups, not free form front room fraternizing and GFE. SJG

Reading about Nevada Brothels. The situation is a mess now, lots closed. Like 4x in Winnemucca, buildings torn down. Of remaining one, not sure if it operates. Then some in Nye County gone. And then the Denis Hof factor. Okay, as I see it two main problems: 1. No free form front room fraternizing and likely GFE auditions. So partaking is then for chumps. 2. Hard to see girls outside without money going to house, this in turn makes the high inside costs absurd. So remember that I have posted other places, that in liberal jurisdictions LE will try to paint the prostitute as a victim. Whereas in conservative jurisdictions they try to paint the prostitute as a criminal menace. They need to go either one of these ways, otherwise, why worry about it. So I have been reading about one Legal Brothel in Carlin, between Winnemucca and Elko. They explain that they have a stripper pole and that suitably compensated, the girls will give you a lap dance. So going to a strip club environment, being able to give them small sums of money and get friendly, this could solve #1. Don't need to discuss much with them, just make it happen. Okay, but then they disclose something else, by law the girls are required to live on the premises and not have to pay rent. So what is this? This is treating the girl like a social menace. They want to keep the girls and the action on the premises. And other NV laws force these places out into the middle of no where. Places girls would not want to live, and they are known and licensed. So even if a shop wanted to bend that rule, it wouldn't work. Probably have to delist her if she went off site. Probably get busted. So it would be very hard to see one of these girls without paying money to the house. Maybe in her home town, where ever that might be. But otherwise, very hard. And then so these licensed shops feel that have the right to have LE crack down on Strip Clubs, AMPs, and Indies. Not a good set up. Strip club girl you could see offsite very easy. But licensed brothel, very hard without paying absurd money to house. Most all legalization advocates completely reject the Nevada model. Can you get a front room make out session with the girl of your choice, all the while feeding her money under the table and getting her all worked up where she decides to go home with you? If SJG was at the Bunny Ranch, I would assume he would be looking for the GFE, and trying to "civilianize" the relationship, in hopes for free multiple sessions in his mom's basement. This is a white knight's dream!

Criticism of Nevada Law [view link] During the 1970s and early 1980s, several towns had enacted rules prohibiting local brothel prostitutes from frequenting local bars or casinos or associating with local men outside of work. After a lawsuit was filed in 1984, these regulations had to be abandoned, but as a result of collaboration between sheriffs and brothel owners, they remain in effect unofficially.[citation needed] For instance, most brothels do not allow the prostitutes to leave the premises during their work shifts of several days to several weeks.[6] In 2009, an article in the Guardian stated that some brothels "impose some extraordinary restrictions on commercial sex workers" in order to "separate sex workers from the local community": some places forbid prostitutes to leave the brothels for extended periods of time, while other jurisdictions require the prostitutes to leave the county when they are not working; some places do not allow the children of the women who work in the brothels to live in the same area; some brothel workers who have cars must register the vehicle with the local police, and workers are not permitted to leave the brothel after 5pm; in some counties registered sex workers are not allowed to have cars at all.[38] The Nevada brothel system has also been criticized by activists in the sex worker rights movement, who are otherwise supporters of full decriminalization of prostitution.[39][40] Organizations and individuals supporting the rights of prostitutes typically favor deregulation and oppose Nevada-style regulation, mainly for three reasons:[41] the licensing requirements create a permanent record which can lead to discrimination later on; the large power difference between brothel owner and prostitute gives prostitutes very little influence over their working conditions; while prostitutes undergo legal and health background checks, their customers do not; the regulations are thus designed to protect customers, not prostitutes. Would be better if they could just have regular strip clubs. But these little towns wouldn't be able to support them so it would be truckers. And they would want full service. So the legal houses, would demand that LE wipe out the competition. No Good! After McEnery told me the story, it only took a few moments to unearth more details. McDonnell, sometimes referred to as Mick McDonnell, was the first leader of "The Squad," a.k.a. "The Twelve Apostles," the assassination unit employed by Michael Collins during the Irish War of Independence. This was the group that systematically bumped off British spies in Dublin, especially members of the "Cairo Gang." Before the squad was formed, McDonnell took part in the Easter Rising of 1916 and then with the Twelve Apostles was involved in the actions on Bloody Sunday as well as several other "jobs." Freire’s emphasis on the need to go beyond a mere turning of the tables, a seizure of the privileges and social positions of the oppressors, echoes Fanon’s concern in Les Damnés and in essays such as “Racism and Culture” (in Pour la Révolution Africaine) that failure to appreciate the deeply Manichean structure of the settler-native division could lead to a false decolonization in which a native elite simply replace the settler elite as the oppressive rulers of the still exploited masses. This shared concern is the motivation for Freire’s insistence on perspectival transformation and on populist inclusion as necessary conditions for social liberation. So with the Nevada Legal Houses being as screwy as they are, strip clubs would be better. But the small cities don't have them. How about Casino Girls? If they have a Casino and a Hotel, I believe that the answer will be yes. So of course Reno and Las Vegas. How about Winnemucca Carlin Elko Wells Wendover ( incorporated on Utah side, unincorporated on NV side McDermitt ( Washington border ) Owyhee ( Idaho border ) Jackpot ( Idaho border ) Nye County, Pahrump, Beatty, Scotty's Junction, become less important now as Nevada is approached as two separate drive through states. So do they have the casino hotels? Winnemucca, 4 right on this map [view link] Elko, yes! [view link] 3 on this Wells map [view link] Right here, Winterhaven NV [view link] Jackpot, 3 right here [view link] Carlin [view link] Oywhee [view link] McDermitt [view link] So at least by the Nevada model, illegal prostitution beats legal prostitution, as the legal prostitution is too restrictive. Nevada, illegal better than legal So with their extremely restrictive laws keeping the girls penned up at their legal houses, it is a bad deal. [view link] Strip Clubs would be better, but the smaller towns can't support them. And probably the brothel operators press LE to crackdown. No good. But the smaller cities do have casino hotels. This almost certainly means they also have casino girls. So just letting the laws become unenforceable is a better deal than legalization. This actually is how it works in Mexico too. The TJ HK Bar is not really a brothel, it is a Hooker Bar with an adjoining hotel. No special law authorizes it. Rather, just no practical way to enforce any laws. They say the FS Massage Parlors in TJ are technically brothels and hence illegal. This is why they don't really publish fixed addresses. SJG
