Basically, the record on that club was 213 dances sold by one dancer, that's just one week.

Let's do that math: 213 x $20 = $4260.00

But what if the place charges forty bucks per song, that would be: 213 x $40 = $8520.00

Whoa!

No wonder these girls don't want to go get a 9-to-5 job.

Of course, economics tells us when you double the price of something you sell less of it. If that wasn't so, all the auto companies would double the price of their cars.

That is the record not typical. The club takes a cut of that $20. If this is true, I think the dollar amounts on SW may be exaggerated (gasp).
