I have never heard of this before until several people mentioned it in a recent post. How does this work exactly? And how is it enforced? And what clubs have this rule? I've been to 75-100 different strip clubs and never once heard of anything like this.

Not sure how it works in other clubs John but in some I go to you have to buy a minimum of 2 at a time. They give you drink tickets or beers in a bucket of ice. That way you always have a drink. What I do some times if I want to play but don't want to drink is I keep my empty on the table and when the waitress comes by I give her a couple bucks and wink and she knows not to get me a drink and keeps the tip. Mgmt. Doesn't know and she's happy.
Its not common. I've actually only seen it a few times. But it's still whack.
Follies used to have 2 drink rule and big sign stating it when you first walked in. At the time, asked the bartender and she said it was to "Keep the riff raff with 5 bucks on Buford Highway from walking in".
