Likely discussed before, but I just watched again, for maybe the 1,000th time, the dance from From Dusk Till Dawn by Salma Hayek. I think, in person, I wouldn't even get as far as a LDK.
Such a deal Quentin Tarantino pulled. Writes himself into the script as the "foil" to Salma.


Being honest, I don't think I've ever seen a Tarantino movie that I didn't think was too long. Kill Bill would have been good at 45 minutes. Dusk Till Dawn had one good scene (albeit really good), Sin City could have easily cut out the middle part with no loss of coherence, and Inglorious Bastards was pretty much a total waste of time. I have had the time to bother with anything else.
If he made 15-30 minute shorts for cable TV, I think he could probably manage to not bore me.
