Spearmint Rhino Vegas VIP

A couple of my buddies and I are going to the Spearmint Rhino in Vegas next Saturday night. We have booked the "Rhino" package that includes a limo pick-up, reserved table, and bottle service. I have two questions - are dances in the VIP room generally worth the money (I understand that YMMV) and do you still have to purchase additional drinks if you go back there if you already have bottle service? This is my first time to this club so any advice/intell would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure they make you purchase the add'l drinks if you go to the VIP room. Although if you stay for more than 1 set of dances, they may only just charge you for the 1st set. But, technically, they can charge you to buy drinks for every set. I don't think you get any more special treatment outside of the package.

I've been to Rhino in Vegas many times and never visited the VIP for the very reason that shailynn states. You might get a bit more two way touching but that's about as far as it goes from all the people I have spoken with. Extras are very hard to get inside Rhino. If you find one of the small minority of girls that do OTC and you are prepared to spend a reasonable sum (in their eyes) you may strike lucky.

As far as the drinks, I've been old that it's $40 on top but don't know if it's a once only fee or per three songs. Never understood that requirement, it's a rip-off.

When you and your buddies get back from Vegas, I have some whole life insurance and time-share condos I want to sell you.

The epitome of being a PL.

Jackslash beat me to it.

Granted, for the best eye candy in the country, there is nothing better than the Vegas Rhino (imho). But the girls there are also expert at the GFE-lead on to VIP and beyond. An hour of VIP will get you heavy two-way contact at best, and you might want to tip the bouncer (more dancers are hitting you up to do that on your way in anyway). You want mileage in Vegas, get an escort.

I think if you guys may be being a bit harsh on the OP. If it's a one time thing for him and strip clubs aren't a big part of his life, it's just a bit of harmless conspicuous consumption.

Now if he is a serious SC addict, then yes deserves the bashing as a PL.

Most strip-club “packages” are great – FOR THE CLUB – they rarely; IF EVER; are a good deal and usually it is the unknowing PLs that get suckered into them. Strip-clubs/strippers will only do what benefits the club/stripper and NEVER the customer.

And as a rule of thumb, SCs (along w/ most other things) in tourist areas are usually overpriced rip-offs.

P.S.
I have some oceanfront property in Nebraska I’d like for you to consider :)

Well – I guess if he’s making $350k/yr+ then it may be harmless :)

I don't know what the "package" cost but I'm pretty sure you wasted some money. December is a slow month in Vegas and even with that being the final night of the rodeo I don't think Rhino will be crazy busy.

They'll pick anybody up in the limo and waive the cover for the cost of a tip to the driver. A table should come with any bottle service so not sure how much of a perk that is.

In my experience you still will be charged on the drinks even if you buy bottle service but that MIGHT be something you can try to negotiate, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Mileage in the Rhino VIP can be a lot better than on the floor but extras are unlikely unless it's a discreet HJ.

For a night out with buddies I don't think they're are many clubs too much better than Rhino in Vegas.

I always grimace when I see "packages" advertised. They seem to be for people who want nothing more than just to be able to spend money.

My own view is that you will get better results in the SC's close to your home, where you can become a regular.

Hit it up less than a month ago. The quality of girls on the weekend is not quite where it was in the past. There were too many old, unfit, messed up or all of the above dancers to count. They used to have much stricter hiring standards for the prime shifts. Vegas girls are past their prime; Cali and FLA have much better girls.
As for the mandatory drinks in the dance rooms, most folks get away with just buying the two drinks each time they go back there, not every three-song set, every 30 min set, etc. I have had some veterans tell me that on busy nights you may be able to get away without buying any if you spend <30 min back there. Just simply tell the waitress you have already bought the mandatory when she asks; there will be too many folks to keep track of, and she won't remember you if you aren't there too long.
$350K is upper middle class. $500K+ is the new 1%.

To me, Vegas is just a waste in general. You get a bunch of ROBs travelling down there looking to do nothing more than make a tourist part with his (or her) money. In my experience, the girls weren't that spectacular, the prices were outrageous and the mileage was abysmal.

Take your money and go gamble instead. If you win, you'll still get a nice rush of endorphins and then have some money to spend on a girl back home.

I agree that The Rhino can be a tourist trap for the inexperienced, but the eye candy is so fuckin incredible I usually stop in anyway. My experience is that the 3/100 dance room is the best deal there, and I've never been asked to buy drinks in there. I haven't been in over a year, but will be there next month. Is the cover still some ridiculous amount ($50?) if you show up in a cab? I've used their pickup service, but sometimes the wait is pretty long, especially if you are going solo.

^azdd, the Vegas Rhino as of this past summer HAS instituted a drinks tab requirement for all dance rooms including the 3x100 (it had been one of the last to hold out on that among the topless/alcohol clubs). The drink prices for the dance rooms are charged at a serious premium vs. the floor or the bar.

That said, hell yeah these are some fine looking ladies...

The "packages" at Vegas clubs are essentially a promise that you will have a table on a busy night, and telling you upfront how much you are paying for the bottle service -- since at Vegas everyone is into the BS of putting a "Reserved" tag on virtually any flat surface in sight.

A key thing as mentioned is to NEVER use a cab to get to a Vegas club; instead call for the club's OWN shuttle/limo pickup, which for the cost of driver tips gives you ride + entrance through one of the side doors with no cover.

In the case of the Rhino the cover STARTS at $33 but yes, the cabbie cartel in Vegas extracts an obscene kickback that can easily double that on a busy night.
