Detroit - a great town for strip clubs or THE GREATEST town?

I've heard the rumor that Detroit strip clubs are fun.

As for your inquiry yes Detroit is pretty bad ass. There has been that debate before as well, and the current hot cities people talk about on this board as the "best" in North America are (in no order): Phoenix, Detroit, Dallas, city of industry, toronto, Montreal. I'll throw in Tijuana since it's right across the border. Atlanta, Vegas, Houston, Tampa and Portland tend to get mentioned too. Someone please chime in if I'm missing a city. As for me though after finally discovering Detroit last fall, there is no other city to club in as far as I'm concerned... But I still do when I'm not in Detroit!

You've only scratched the surface if you've only visited the clubs on 8 Mile (consider also, BTs, Toy Chest, Flight Club, Landing Strip, Bogarts, Henry VIII to name a few). The metro area is pretty large and does feature some "not so nice" areas and clubs so an automobile and some level of good sense and street smarts is recommended. But if ITC extras at a reasonable price point is of interest, then Detroit is a great town with a range of clubs from upscale to dive bars. In a different discussion, I suggested that the Detroit Renaissance should be built on sex tourism, rather than the auto industry.

I was in Detroit myself for the first time from 7/16 – 7/21 on a PL vacation (SC vacation).

Yean – in many of the clubs extras are as easy to come by as asking for a drink at the bar.

Windsor's time of strip club greatness has passed. The notorious Jason's featured beautiful nude dancers, many of whom were French Canadians, but it has gone out of business. The remaining strip bars have little in the way of hot dancers, and although the strippers are nude, dances are low or no contact.

Detroit clubs offer more attractive dancers, more contact and more extras.

While I have never visited clubs outside the US in the past 20 years, I have clubbed all across the US. My vote is that Detroit is the best SC city insofar as it offers a wide variety of quality gentleman's clubs, dive clubs and mid-levelclubs. All offer high mileage and extras are available in all but a couple of SE Michigan clubs. Other cities have their attractions but I have never seen anything to match the D.

It is entirely possible that I may have had similar experiences in several Detroit area strip clubs. I think that the rumour jackslash mentioned just might be true.

However, for the title of GREATEST town for strip clubs I always submit Toronto and area as the proper holder of that title.

I haven't gone clubbing in any of the other strip club meccas, but I've been to Detroit four times in the past three years and can attest to the excellence of its clubs. One afternoon at a middle-brow club in the Dearborn area, I tipped the busty blonde who was on stage when I walked in. She joined me after her set, chatted me up for ten minutes or so, and then said "Wanna dance? Wanna blowjob?" Oh, and the price: she asked $200, I countered $100, and just like that it was on. This happened in March; the exact same scenario (same club, same girl, same price negotiation) took place in June.

Detroit is good for the value conscious. That is about it. I find the women to be below average looking to average looking at best. You won't find the hottest girls in the world there.
