INDIANAPOLIS â€” Indianapolis Metro police have arrested a man following a fatal shooting on the city's west side. Officers responded to the 3800 block of Lafayette Road, at Babes Showgirls, investigating reports of a person shot. When they arrived, officers found Andree Magee, 24, with a gunshot wound to the head. Medics pronounced Magee dead a short time later. Metro homicide detectives also responded. Witnesses reported seeing a blue SUV leaving the scene after the shooting. Officers stopped a vehicle matching that description in the 3800 block of DePauw Boulevard and questioned two men. One man was released; the second, Traver Condon, 28, Modesto, Calif., was arrested on a preliminary murder charge. IMPD Lt. Chris Bailey said it appears the shooting stemmed from a disturbance and the victim was shot from the passing vehicle. IDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (January 22, 2014) â€“ A man was shot at a strip club on the city's near west side early Wednesday morning. The shooting occurred at Club Venus in the 35oo block of W 16th St around 1 a.m. The victim was found in the strip club with a gunshot wound to his stomach. He was awake and breathing when medics transported him, and he is at Eskenazi Hospital in stable condition. There were no witnesses to the shooting, so no suspect information is available at this time.
