A man suspected of starting a shootout in a North Side strip club is facing a felony charge. Rudy Cantu, 35, was arrested Thursday at a local hospital where he was seeking treatment for gunshot wounds. He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and bail was set at $100,000. Cantu is accused of starting a gunfight at Sugar's on Loop 410 near Vance Jackson Road early Thursday in which two people were shot in the buttocks —Leticia Gonzalez, 24, and Ruben Martinez, 35. Officers said the shooting stemmed from an argument among a group of people sitting around a table at the club about 12:40 a.m. As the fight escalated, Cantu fired and Martinez shot back, striking Cantu in the arm and knee, witnesses told police. Gonzalez was described by police described as an innocent bystander who was hit by a stray bullet. Local television stations described her as a dancer at Sugar's. Nobody was critically injured, police said. Martinez wasn't charged.

Now wait a second, both were armed and only three were injured - one accidentally? Shouldn't there be 12 or 13 dead - oh, those are only in "gun free" zones.

At least in Texas the shooters generally hit their targets, not like New York city police that miss their targets and hit only innocent bystanders.

Repeal the 2nd Amendment and confiscate and destroy all civilian possessed guns and guns [Especially Assault Rifles] from retailers that sell them without proper precautions, PARTICULARLY gun shows. Outlaw the NRA, this country's "Shadow Rulers [Kings]"!!!
