  I've been married for 44 years and my wife has a chronic medical condition (Alzheimers) and doesn't have a need to know what I'm doing when I go out. I make sure she has the best medical care and I exercise my prostate. Use it or lose it.

  When I was married my wife knew that I went however I did not go very often. I had no need to. There was plenty of entertainment at home. Now that I'm not married I go more frequently.

  Just a widower here, lost my wife last year. But I've been going to clubs for several years and she was definitely in the know about it all and occasionally went with me.
  
  And to Bullkwinkle's point... out of guys who spend time posting on a strip club site, I think there will be more with knowledgeable, accepting partners than among those who lurk and never post. Because if they weren't accepting, we'd be hiding more. ;)

  I suspect that's moderately unusual, even among this crowd. But I've seen some indications that it's not unheard of in society at large.

  I have a long time GF that will legally become my wife next month. She doesn't know about my little hobby and I wouldn't think of burdening her with such a trivial thing. In other words I'm REALLY good at hiding it.....so far.

  Most people don't think it's infidelity if a married person masturbates. Commercial sex is emotionally no different than masturbation, so I don't understand why it counts as infidelity. There is less chance of a person's affections being alienated by a commercial sexual relationship than a platonic job relationship.

  I don't see us ever leaving Cali, and if we do it would be to move to Canada since we both love Vancouver so much (note to self - begin investigating Vancouver SC scene). I could see us ultimately retiring up there someday. We'll definitely keep better in the colder climate!

  You could retire to Florida like many do. Sometimes it get real cold down here. It was 50 this last winter, at least a day or two. :)
