Have any you OTC guys seen this? It came out in 2010, has James Gandolfini (The Sopranos) and Kristen Stewart (Panic Room) in it. About a PL lost his daughter in a car wreck and sugar daddies a stripper/escort while at a convention in NOLA?
It's pretty gritty, and the conditions she lives in reminds me of some horror stories I've read on eccie. i thought it was well made. then I saw Ridley Scott's (Alien, Blade Runner, Gladiator, etc) kid made it.
Viewed the trailer. Seems as though it might be worth a look see.
Rick's right he's not a PL. The term just get thrown around here so much, I thought it was meaningless.
After sleeping on it, I'm more fond of this movie. Has some good lines.
"Better than working peep shows in Atlanta. Guys jerking off staring at your cooter like it was singing the Star Spangled fucking Banner."
and [spoilers!] a great last line.
"I'm nobody's little girl! It's too late for that shit."
I liked it. When James Gandolfini is in a movie it's usually a home run as far as writing and acting goes.
After hearing that quote. I'm inclined to go to a peep show just to prove those dumb assholes wrong. I do NOT jerk off to anything.
