Greater Philly Area Suggestions

Any suggestions of how to get around the valet at Penthouse would also be welcome.

I’m not from Philly and haven’t been – but I want to visit sometime next year so I read some reviews a few days ago.

Only thing I can contribute is that “Purple Orchid” seems to be mostly a black club. I discussed this club with a fellow TUSCLer not too long ago. Also, in the reviews for “ Purple Orchid”, do a keyword search for the word “black” and you’ll notice various reviewers referring to it as mostly a black club.

Sorry, don't know Philly so can't offer much.

I know we've discussed valet parking a lot - while I don't like it, wouldn't consider it to be a dealbreaker. I've used it a lot a never had an issue. In this case, of limited options, maybe you might want to reconsider?

Personally this seems like a losing battle bro. Your probably better off just skipping the strip club altogether and waiting till you come back home (or hire an escort during bedtime lol). And your black club comment sounds kind of offensive even if you say no offense? Why would you rather not be at a black club for? Stereotypical reasons perhaps?

Club Risque in Bristol definitely allows smoking, I think that all the Philly clubs do, but not sure on that, you may want to call one and ask, I don't think you have enough time to get to Playhouse Lounge in Burlington NJ, the Club Risque on the Delaware may fit the bill, but then I'm ote sure about the smoking situation there.

I would suggest either one of the Club Risque locations you mention. They sound like your style. Plus, I believe the smoking sections are partitioned off from the rest of the club, so no worries there. (And as Papi_Chulo mentions, Purple Orchid is AA all the way. Finally, Playhouse seems too sleazy for your tastes. I believe either Risque place will be a hit with you.)

there are three joints lined up like ducks on delaware ave right outside center city...penn's port, show n tel (which may only offer 'private shows' that early on a sat) and the third club risque (you overlooked) on del ave...and though smoking is banned indoors most places in philly it is rarely enforced in strip clubs in the area which fortunately bend and transgress a variety of 'rules'...

There are a number of clubs outside the city limits which offer quite a bit "fun", but almost all of them allow smoking, whereas clubs inside the city limits tend to have outside smoking areas.

In addition to the clubs already mentioned, there are a number of other possibles:

Gold Club, Center City Philadelphia Club Atlantis, University district of W Philly -- mainly AA dancers but with many white patrons. Erotic Cafe, Pennsauken, NJ Champagne, W Deptford NJ (opens at 4PM) Carnival Bookstore, Woodlawn NJ - not a club, but a peep show with high mileage private dances Delilah's, northern edge of Center City Philadelphia Cheerleaders, S Philadlephia Daydreams, NE Philadelphia (nude)
