A recent thread reminded me of something that had been on my mind recently. The thread was titled “… do you think some dancers looked a lot hotter back then …†(tuscl.net)

About a month or two ago, I was at a video peep show and one of the channels had 1970's porn playing. Couple of things I noticed abut the 70s porns I was watching:
- the “actors/actresses†did not seem very young
- the actresses also did not seem as attractive and/or hygienic – their pussys looked torn up – their skin looked semi f'ed up – and they definitely had bush
Along the line of shadow's comment in the other thread, it also appears to me that there are a lot more younger providers in the sex biz. I tend to notice this in SCs but also in adult films.
It could be that technology and in particular the internet, has not only made it much more accessible for customers to obtain services, but likewise for providers to offer these services.
One instance where I've noticed young girls offering big girl services has been on sites like backpage – it doesn't seem too uncommon for young girls to try to make fast cash doing the backpage thing especially since at their young age, other options for making fast/significant money may not be too available.
Anybody else think this is a trend?
Regarding porn now vs. 70's and age I think it's a couple of things. First the quality of the film back then was very poor and it's been copied over and over that alone will make a performer look older and less attractive. I'm really making a big generalization but I think the girls that performed back then took less care of themselves and/or had a harder life up to when they started performing so that of course ages you. I also think they didn't care at all about makeup in the films back then, now they seem obsessed with it, that helps a lot to make someone look "perfect".
On top of all of this I just think girls look hotter these days when they are younger and again that has to do with the image the media portrays to them. When I first started noticing this I thought it was just because I was getting older and so younger looked hotter but I don't think that's the case. Girls that are 18 and can perform in porn have been wearing makeup and "practicing" looking older for more than 4 years. I don't think they did that back in the 70's nearly as much. I know when I was in high school in the early 80's there were very few girls that tried to look older than they really were. Now I think that's more the norm.
