Do Strippers Simply Ignore Guys who Never Spend Money?

At one local club here, I know a dancer whom I am not attracted to (very tall, giant fake tits, frizzy fake blonde hair, not my type) who still sits with me and "enjoys" my company if no paying dudes are around. I'll stand her a drink every now and then, and she's helped out with "catching" for me an errant girl for a paid lapper. She's making her $$ off other guys and knows not to be offended by my disinterest. In addition, I've heard (though never seen it in real life) that the first step toward "macking on" a dancer successfully (actually turning her into a "girlfriend" rather than a "paid companion") is to let her know that you are NOT a "typical customer", by never paying her for her affections, thus demonstrating that her treatment of you as a potential boyfriend is not a LOSS of potential income for her. So I've heard. Also, a lot depends on whether it's a "homey" honkey-tonk locals type club, or a "glitzy" itinerant-girls-just-want-$$ Vegas type club.

Im a dancer and these guys don't annoy me too bad, but they do a little. Personally I think they are at least slightly rude...they are getting a free show. They pay the house and don't tip me, I get no money and they look at my naked body. I wouldn't be there if I wasn't making money, neither would any other girl, especially when we have to pay to work....so they are like people on welfare relying on other customers to come in and spend so they have something to look at, and in my book - that's rude. Where they reaaaally annoy me is when they try to grab, or guilt trip me for not spending time with them. Do they think I'm in there inhaling second hand smoke and walking around in 8 in heels for the fun of it? If you're going to go to a club and not spend even a few dollars at the stage, at least be nice to the girls, let them work, understand they are there for WORK and to pay their bills.

The dancers will ignore a rock. The waitresses will make sure you know that you are supposed to buy more than one beer. And the manager will ask you if you are having a good time sitting a doing nothing.

That all seems kind of silly to me. Guys who come in all the time and spend nothing arent going to get alot of attention from anyone. Unless the club is really dead or something, Im not going to spend alot of time talking it up with a non-tipper.

I think the club doesnt really like it either, but there isnt much that can be done about it. They have raised the cover charge and I think that helped a bit. We also used to have a pool table which they also removed. (some guys would just mill around the pool table to avoid tipping)

I think those guys who come in multiple times a week are playing it all wrong. You need to breed some artitifical scarcity. My rules are no more than 40 minutes once a week unless tons of girls are talking to you in which stay as long as you are busy interacting with them, but then leave within 10 minutes after that. If no girls are talking to you then either leave right away or talk to other customers. Just don't sit their on your hands looking like a lonely PL waiting for something to happen.

Smart strippers also know the importance of breeding artificial scarcity: You'll see that the best ones can severely restrict their hours with very little effect on their bottom line.

I believe anyone that can scrape up the cover charge is allowed to be in there, whether they tip or buy dances or not. It does bother me when guys who do this take up seats when other guys who do have money to spend have to be uncomfortable and stand, while the non-tippers have a seat.

Barred? I certainly wouldn't mess with anyone who has gypsy fortune telling powers or hairy palms.

A question for Card: Have strippers or managers ever tried to get these customers who come in all the time but don't spend anything above the minimum barred?

There are a few of these guys in EVERY club. The type that comes in several times a week - hangs around with the managers, bouncers, etc - never tips, buys dances, etc. Acts like he works there - but doesnt. Eh, they become such a fixture that everyone usually justs gets used toem. I may say hello and such and chit-chat for a minute or 2, but if I have real tipping customers at the bar I`m not going to generally devote too much time to this type of guy.

Has anyone ever actually tried not spending money in SC for an extended period of time and seeing if they really just ignore you? Any real world basis for your "theories" here or is it all just speculation?

Who goes to a SC without spending any $$$? It'd be like going to a library and never reading a book or going to a casino and never gambling. I mean sure you can do it but are you really maximising your entertainment?

I suspect most strippers would not bother with guys that have demonstrated that he will not spend money on them. But, as with every rule, there are exceptions.
