I really wonder if it is common for guys to wear underwear to a strip club. Obviously the lap dances are much better without underwear blocking the feeling. Just wondering.
That great, Shadowcat. But I don't see how underwear would make any difference. It's not like she would reach up your leg and say, "Oh, no, underwear. No way I can get past that. Looks like the fun's over." We're not talking about a chastity belt. Underwear is designed to be easy to pull aside, reach through, etc. If it weren't, we'd all be pissing our pants every day.
I've had a few quickie blow jobs outside of strip clubs in my time, and I'm pretty sure I was always wearing underwear. I don't recall it ever being a problem. But I don't expect a medal. All in the line of duty.
Shadowcat, I wasn't really asking about dating. My point was how silly it sounds to say that underwear is such an obstacle when it obviously doesn't stop millions of couples every day from gettin' it on in situations different from strip clubs.
I mean, would you ever say, "I got a hot date tonight, so I better not wear any underwear." I think for guys going commando, it's a psychological benefit more than anything practical.
This discussion is pointing out yet again that different people go to strip clubs for different reasons. If your main objective is to give Willie a good up-close-and-personal workout then commando probably makes sense. But for those of us with other objectives it doesn't. Shadowcat obviously understands exactly what he's looking for and knows how to get it. I'm not sure that's true for some of the rest of us.
I was a briefs guy until my wife was trying to get pregnant and gave me boxers. I found that they are nicer than briefs for strip clubbing. So now I keep the boxers for suits and slacks, wear briefs with shorts and jeans. The real reason I wear boxers with slacks is so that my wife won't wonder why I want to take boxers on my out-of-town trips.
yeah yeah yeah sometimes I can be a bit prudish. I apologise for any perceived nastiness in my initial response. I wear boxers as well and I guess my fave is when I go in the summertime and have the strippers rub up my legs when I am wearing a pair of athletic shorts. NEVER fails to get a rise since I am big into touch.
I don't get what you mean by 'not wearing underwear says a lot about what kind of guy you are'. All i'm saying is that you can feel the dance better without underwear. No big deal just seems very obvious and logical to me. If a dancer is rubbing her body against your dick, just having pants between you and her is thinner than pants and underwear.
I wear underwear to clubs, but I probably have as much in common with the freeballers as with Team BVD. Actually, I wear boxers in clubs, only because they make it easier to align my dick when I get a boner. I've never found that underwear makes any difference in the kind of dance I get.
Huge, I think it probably says as much about the type club the person likes as about the person himself, which of course also says something about the person. There are probably clubs I'd go sans underwear if I was looking for extras and knew that was the attraction at a particular club, but that's not what I look for. In the places I tend to like there's no reason not to wear underwear. If, like Shadowcat, I was unattached my response would probably be quite different. So maybe marital status is the big factor.
I would never EVER go to a strip club without underwear. Heck I'd have a much cheaper experience looking on craigslist for an escort for a few hours than going to my fave club sans underwear. Am I the only one who thinks the answer to this question says as much about someone as juss about anything else they can answer?

I realize there's a whole lifestyle of people who believe in freeballing all the time, but I don't get the feeling you're talking about that.
You rang, Sir?
