Here in Texas, (at least where I live) we pay the dancers directly. Though I have on rare occasions had a dancer requesting a tip. I don't think I would like the clubs where you pay the club directly then haggle with the dancer over a tip. Seems to take all the spontaneity out of the engagement.
It also makes it feel like the clubs are pimping out the dancers, rather than the dancers working as independent contractors.
