Fellow club goers does anyone have a handle on the clubs in the Rochester NY area. I may be up there in a few weeks and the reviews seem hit and miss. I have not been in that area for years. I know clubs in New York state vary greatly from town to town and some small clubs in the country are the best. If no-one knows I will do a tour and report back.

Buffalo and Rochester are in a word...... terrible. Do yourself a favor, take your passport and go over to Niagara Falls to the Sundowner and Penthouse Clubs. It will be worth extra drive.
That's the conclusion I came to from the reviews, thanks for the confirmation.
While magnum0077 is right about heading over the border for the best results, there's also Foxy's in Scottsville NY just outside Rochester, and it's a nice neighborhood-style bar with some excellent looking women. I have a friend who used to DJ there and it's a nice spot - even during the week.
