Some guys do throw out ridiculous offers like this. Even those or more modest means are always offering to "save" a girl from a club. For whatever reason, I get some of the more candid conversation from dancers - and it occurs outside the club. The women who get those high end offers rarely accept for a variety of reasons - if you are the type of girl who can walk away with $2000 over a weekend normally, why would you take a weekend off with a dude for less than $3000? You run the risk of having a reputation that club owners don't want, and frankly, some of us are gross. For those that do negotiate such things at more reasonable prices, rarely are their motivations less than some combination of a habit and children to support. The lowest prices generally come from the previous. I've also met the rare girl working in a club to have enough self-respect to never consider such things. Or so they'd claim.

While I've never been able to apply it in this situation, my preferred response to accidents that set people up for some kind of liability is "I'd like to resolve this as quietly as possible. How would you like to do that?" It shows you understand the value of being discreet, which gets the best first offer possible.

If you're even considering Brunswick, you may as well go to Brook Park. Stay away from Sam's Hideaway in Medina, period. I'm hearing good things about Gatsby's lately, but I've yet to go myself. The only thing I'd suggest about Akron is to hit the some of the same clubs you've been at (Tallmadge/Brittain) given the lack of cover and cycle through until you see something you like. Having one beer at each while you check out the scenery won't set you back much. Good to know about Steve's. I'd previously use a place on Manchester Rd. a bit south of the city.

The difference between malice and stupid often doesn't make itself known until after something goes wrong. Regardless of your paranoia, you did a safe and smart thing.

That doesn't sound like law enforcement language, it sounds like desperate talk. Either way, I wouldn't have responded with any useful information. The best case is that you have your name thrown as a referral and the worst is that they get busted. You don't win.
