SIMI VALLEY, CA — The city of Simi Valley has passed a new law that is aimed at keeping adult film productions from entering the municipality.
The city council passed the law at a meeting Monday night.
Beginning in May, all film productions must use condoms at all times. Under the new law, producers have to submit unedited copies of their adult films to the Simi Valley Police Department for review.
The law does have an exemption when filming for “personal use.â€
The new ordinance stems from a similar measure passed by the City of Los Angeles in January.
Many adult films are made in Chatsworth, near LA County's border with Simi Valley. The council feared those productions would simply move a few miles west, into Simi Valley
What it means is that you & your sex partner can get out your webcam and do whatever you want but if you want to sell copies of it, then you must wear a condom.
Let me get this straight: The city of Simi Valley police department will be reviewing adult film raw footage. I'll bet that will go over great in the local press there! They may even have to create a new position: "Adult Film Reviewer." There'll be no shortage of applicants for that job!

You can't make someone wear a condom.
