A California school board voted unanimously last night to fire a science teacher whose students recently discovered that she has appeared in a variety of hardcore pornographic films.
Makes me wonder if this porn star use to tell me I didn't know what I was talking about over there because, as we all know, "it's just a job."
Did she teach biology or anatomy??
They fired her for that yet there is a teacher in SoCal that is a charge and convicted molester and the union won't let the district fire him. She must have refused to blow someone.

Also bear in mind that stigmatization of the producers of erotic services (including strip clubs) also stigmatizes the consumers of such products.

I have mixed feelings. She didn't really do anything "wrong" but this would certainly affect the learning environment.
Doing porn carries certain stigma's and problems, she knew the risk when she did it.
Why are these students looking at porn? They should be expelled!

That's just a stupid story that repeats itself often enough. The trouble with school boards is they want to hire people who are morally perfect or else. Never mind that they aren't.
Well, I was listening to John and Ken (KFI 640 LA) and they made a good point - there is right now a teacher in LA who spread his semen on cookies and fed it to kids that is getting less trouble than this teacher who did nothing illegal and the parents didn't care cuz no one showed up for the meeting! Then again, schools are throwing kids out for having aspirin these days...
