OT: Browser Dysfunction Syndrome (BDS -- Not Covered by Obamacare)

What causes the annoyance of one's active browser window deactivating? In the middle of typing my window becomes inactive and what I thought I was typing isn't displayed... The problem seems to go away after a reboot (for what it's worth). Just wondering what causes the problem so I can avoid it in the future (and if it's Boris in his Ukranian basement then FU Boris!!!)

MS, the likely cause.

I think you are either maxed out on RAM or your on CPU.

I believe your "system failure" occurs when Desmond fails to push the button.

It's possible you've installed something somewhere along the line that is running in the background and isn't nice about keeping itself there. If you're running other programs, try to exit them and see if the problem goes away.

For dealing with possible malicious spyware and stuff that made it past whatever protection you have installed, go to bleepingcomputer.combleepingcomputer.com and download a program called ComboFix. Run it. It will take about two hours.

Thanks a lot!!! I'd rather have got a virus! I tried that program and all hell broke lose! My current fave called and said she is pregnant with my baby. My favorite club burned to the ground. My car was stolen. My house flooded, and my dog died! THANKS!!!

@Clubber, that's because the link was intended for CT. For everybody else, it's a trap. :)))
