  One other club I recall that's really weird is Adult World in Harrisburg. It's basically a small theater that you enter through an XXX bookstore. Customers all sit in built-in oversized easy chairs around a stage, girls dance nude on stage then circulate giving laps. No stage tipping, you have to stay in your seat. No drinks or food whatsoever. No conversation at all and there's no opportunity to approach the girls. And the laps have no set price, you tip the girl whatever you feel like and she stays on your lap for however long she feels like as long as you keep tipping. Needless to say the regulars get all the attention and strangers are ignored. I thought the place was terrible but it gets some surprisingly good reviews from the locals.

  I know clubs that have shower shows, I think they're pretty common. But never one where a guy was in the shower, usually it's just one or more dancers, depending on how much you want to spend, with the customer just watching. And I agree with Chitown, I'd never go into a hot tub in a club. The girls never promoted it very much and some of them wouldn't do it at all.

  In Chicago - early 80's I went to a club in Chicago - sort of a little hidden building in Ogden I think. The girls were like in the 4 - 6 range - they danced and offered extras blatantly in the back room - customers bought raffle tickets for $10 each - the prize was the dancer of your choice in the back room - the winner sold his ticket for $60 - a good price considering the talent - anyone else ever run into his place (can't remember the name) or a raffled dancer?

  Speaking of shower shows, not all involve a guy. The first time I went to the Lumber Yard in Des Moines, which is heavily into the Girls Gone Wild thing, they got 3 female customers to go in the shower naked along with the dancer. One of the girls poured my beer all over herself. It was a blast. I've gone back several times since, only they haven't had that type of thing going on.

  would have hygiene-related problems with going into a hot tub related to a strip club. God knows what little beasties would find a congenial environment in a nice warm place like that. I'd have to insist on being the first customer in that water..and problem insist on them filling it in front of me. A shower probably wouldn't be so bad, but could still pose some problems. Club Cabare't in Peoria is strange because of all the little services they offer, in an attempt to be sort of a spa for men...you can get a haircut, shoeshine, massage (clean), oil change for your car, etc. It is a very tacky, amateurish place, though....not enjoyable at all, which is quite an achievement for a full nude alcohol club that has decent looking girls. At the Century in City of Industry, CA, one of the first clubs I ever went to, in the early 90s, the girls danced in these three-sided frames that reminded me of tomato frames.The customer sat at the open end of the frame. At the customer's end, there was a meter box into which a tolen was deposited by someone (I don't remember if it was the dancer, the patron, or a non-dancer staff member). The dancer stopped dancing when the meter ran out, and a buzzer went off.

  Chandler: I'm guessing the fellow in his underwear has to re-clothe himself without the benefit of a dry pair of undies?   The Flight Club has a vintage Corvette suspended over the stage. A couple times a night, they lower it and two girls put on a girl-on-girl-on-car show. It gets old quick.

  I thought "watch the dancers take a shower" must mean peeping into their dressing room. Is there anything unusual about shower shows? My regular club has them, usually at least one a night. They involve a stripper and a customer stripped to his underwear, usually for a bachelor party, but anybody could get one for about $80. They're pretty boring to watch, unless you know the guy. Seen one you've seen 'em all.

  There are shower booths in a few Boston/Providence area clubs but they don't see as much use as they once did. Guys have gotten cheap about tipping for shower shows so most of the dancers don't bother to do them anymore.

  There's a shower at 7 Seas in Tampa. I've seen them in several clubs in Houston, too. I've actually never seen a shower in use at a club, though. At one or two clubs in Toronto and in Houston there are enclosed outdoor decks where you can sunbathe, or watch dancers sunbathe topless. I've never seen those in use either, but the fantasy about applying sunscreen lotion does get me going ...

  casualguy, There is a club in Miami that used to do the shower thing, usually with two women. It is still open without the showers. The shower area was actually outside in a patio. They closed that down and did do showers inside for a short time. Name of the club is the Alley Cat.

  I'm having trouble remembering but I do remember one club had an area where you could watch the dancers take a shower. That seems unusual to me now.

  I guess the other really unusual thing I've run into is Lady Godiva's outside of Morgantown, WV. I haven't been there in about 10 years but they used to have a room with two hot tubs in it, where you could take a girl for $250 for a half hour. They loaned you a bathing suit for the trip but I doubt if it usually stayed on for very long. This was a pretty typical strip club downstairs with private rooms upstairs. A decent club actually except that the girls all seemed to hate the manager and there was always a lot of angry yelling going on between them.

  In Cleveland in the late 80's was a place called Stage Door Johnnies on Prospect avenue before they cleaned up the city. It was next door to an adult theater, and after the girls did the show, they came next door to solicit guys to go to private booths. There was also another theater where the girls did a burlesqu show then solicited the audience members for bbbj,s etc in the bathrooms. Those wewe the days. The other place was the old Peek A Boo in Lake Worth Florida.

  "Unusual" in the sense, of some kind of unfamiliar and new experience? Definitely the night I went to some club in the Miami area (can't remember the name) where they put on an olde-style burlesque show. They had some performers who had done that way back in the 1950s, which meant we were looking at 80-year-old dancers. They couldn't move. The weirdness wasn't so much the multiple red peacock feather outfits or the silly peek-a-boo moves; it was the saggy old hags performing with them. Very strange. Most "unusual" as in, OUTSTANDING? Definitely Fantasia, in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada (just north of Toronto) in the mid-1990s. It was a free-for-all brothel-type arrangement. Still looking for that type of service in the USA!

  The most unusual for me has to be the one I went to in Hamburg, Germany back in the 80s. I don't remember the name of the club, but it was right across the street from The Cave, where The Beatles got their start, about a block off the Rëperbahn. It cost 45 DM to get in, which was about $25 back then. There was a big circular stage that rotated in the center and there were chairs all around it. For about 45 minutes, different people would come out on stage and have sex with each other. There were all sorts of combinations, girl-girl, three-way, solo, etc. No cumshots though. In fact some of the guys had trouble even getting it up. The girls ranged from so-so to gorgeous. One beautiful brunette got herself off with a toy. It might have been faked, but she did it so good, who cares? The grand finale was a blonde woman, about 30 years old and about 20 lbs too heavy, who came on and used several different kinds of dildos on herself and then she did tricks with her vagina. She blew out a candle and picked stuff up off the stage with it. At the end, she picked a guy from the seats next to the stage and pulled him up onstage with her. I didn't partake because the AIDs epidemic was in full swing and these girls were not picky about protection. Still, it was fun to test the merchandise.   A dancer named August used to dance at Show-n-Tell in Philadelphia, FONDL. I met her at Playmates in Cocoa, Florida a few years ago. She corroborated your statements and they rang a bell when you posted them here. She said that they had a guy who literally cleaned each room after each use. "What did they do in the private rooms?" I asked. "Jerk off!" she laughed. Evidently she got fired from Playmates for prostitution or some silliness like that. I heard that she started a local escort service so I did a Google search and, to my surprise, I actually found her listed as "August Entertainment" in the local list of registered businesses! I felt shocked! How can someone list herself as an actual escort service in the government list of registered businesses? I checked the addresses listed and they looked bogus, but the phone number actually did reach her. We talked briefly and she said she had girls who all worked for a flat $200 hourly rate. I did not pursue that avenue, but I still find myself reeling at how flagrantly people ignore the law. If I ever get that desperate, I will purchase an airline ticket to Reno and secure the services of the Bunny Ranch.

  FONDL guess the one I would say is X Dreams in West Babylon, NY....It is a peep show setup where you can choose a girl from the behind the screen for a private dance and what extras they offer. Like the club you mentioned in Philly it offers DVD's and adult toys and mags along with two theatres for movies, one which is a couples theatre. My previous time there also my first I saw Sunset Thomas there and got a total of 3 dances with her [her dances were 100 per 10 minutes plus gratituity]and for her got to DATY and got 2 BJ's, uncovered, the 2nd one to a full completion for a happy ending. As a result I will defiantely see Sunset anytime on the East Coast in the NY-NJ-CT-PA area when I can.
