Another travel topic

I recently went on a short weekend trip and my flight back was overbooked. I gladly volunteered to take a later flight, and so now I have a voucher with the airline which would easily pay for a flight anywhere in the US.

There are numerous places I'd like to visit for other reasons, but I'm also taking the club and adult entertainment scene into consideration...

As far as dancers go, I prefer busty ones with dark hair and dark eyes. A tan is nice too, if it's their natural complexion. For this reason, I *love, love, love* hispanic/latina girls. They are the best of the best.

So, nationwide (or beyond), what's the best destination to go for this sort of dancer? I have though of Houston and Miami, and also San Diego because the famous Tijuana clubs are just across the border.

I'm familiar with the reputation of the Houston clubs. I believe Miami or Tampa has a very highly rated club here as well, and supposedly a lot of women from Cuba and Puerto Rico work there. As for Tijuana, the reviews of Adelita don't even seem real. The idea of a club with dozens of model-quality Mexican girls who will get it on for the cost of a pair of sneakers sounds really far fetched (and like heaven on earth). But, I guess they are real. 247 reviews can't all be lies.

Still, I'm not much into ghetto scenes or dangerous cities. I live about an hour and a half from St. Louis but I never venture into the east side, despite the highly acclaimed clubs there.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Houston, northside. Stay at Greenspoint Marriott and you're within five minutes driving distance to Rick's, St. James, Houston Dolls, and Trophy Club.

    SAN DIEGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Nice weather, plenty to do, and...........Tijuana!!!!!!!!!!!!11 Nothing like it in the states, for pennies compared to what you would spend to go home w/blue balls. Once you do it, you will ask yourself what took you so long. Go on the internet, do some homework, and your trip will be an eye opener!!!!!!!!!!!!111

Tijuana must be very different than my visit into Mexico.

I vote for San Diego with unlimited travel to TJ. It is safe and if travel rite you would not even need a rental car. You can fly into SD stay downtown and take the train to the boarder and back. You will need a passport although I have heard of people using a drivers license and birth certificate,I see them standing in a very long line on the return side of the boarder. If you go to TJ you will go again. Plus there is tons of things to do in SD plus the weather is dryer and cooler.

This is from mrs m00tpoint who used to work hand-in-hand with CBP for import and export compliance. You CANNOT get back into the US legally with just a birth certificate and drivers license any longer. Do not listen to wwpmi or you will have a heap load of trouble. The issue is, and has never been, getting into Mexico. It is getting back into the US.

I won't make any comments about safety, etc there. You can see whatever the current condition is yourself by checking out the advisories on the CBP website.

m00tpoint: In some border states, there is a special drivers licence that gets residents of that state back and forth across the border. I know for a fact that some state bordering Canada, like NY, do this because some relatives have such a license and go back and forth all the time. Whether such a thing is done in those states bordering Mexico, I don't know.

For Houston -- This seems like a good bet too, though more expensive. I'm not sure what else there is to do there. I could maybe go to a sporting event if there's no lockouts this year.

Florida seems like a nice place in general to visit and has a club in the top 3 on this website.

Still, it seems like San Diego is the frontrunner and would be the biggest adventure. Tijuana definitely sounds like a crazy place. Honestly, if it really is what the reviews describe, I'll probably never be able to stand going to a club in my area again. I have already become pretty jaded from when I started six years ago. I remember how back at the beginning, I would only spend money giving tips at the stage in a pastie-bar and I felt I was having a great time.

I've actually never gone outside the country. What do you even say to the border guard when he asks what you're doing?

Digitech - the only things they usually ask is was your vist for business or pleasure and how long were you there. And are you bringing anything back. To that you just say "I hope not". Nothing to worry about.
