All Nude Strip Club To Open

An all nude strip club is set to open near a very popular gym, as well as several businesses that cater to children. Now at least one of those businesses is vowing to fight to keep the club from opening.
Managers at Defined Fitness on San Mateo and McLeod say they were blindsided by the news that an old restaurant that shares their parking lot, is the spot for the new strip club. Defined manager Damon Bader
says having a strip club so close to the gym is a bad idea because the gym has a daycare center with dozens of children. There is also a nearby amusement park and miniature golf course. But also within a few miles are two other strip clubs, and one of them is an all nude club.
City of Albuquerque spokesman Chris Ramirez says the newest proposed strip club also fits the city's zoning laws. “It is zoned properly for this kind of establishment,†he said. “The only thing that would prohibit it from being there is if there was a school or a church within 100 feet – which there isn't.†Defined managers are appealing the zoning approval. Currently there is no date set for that hearing.

Also, way back when, Albuq. clubs required full cloth pasties (not the rubber or latex), along with full bottoms-no nude allowed.
There are better places to open a club. Back when, the only club was on the south edge of the city, miles from the nearest school or restaurant.
