"It won't happen overnight, but metro Atlanta is expected to receive its first white Christmas since the Chester Arthur administration."

Shadowcat - looks like you'll be having a White Christmas - were you around for the last one? ;-)

steve, I am watching the situation. I have an 8 mile drive this afternoon for dinner with my family. I have seen it snow here. Generally once a year and I know they don't know how to handle it and do not have the equipment to take care of the roads. I will pass on the strip clubs tonight.

The media always loves to run icey road footage from Atlanta. Invariably it's one car after another sliding around.

Damn - I thought about hitting the Pony tonight after they open at 4pm, or maybe Follies if they're open. The snow's bumming me out though...

Today in Houston it's in the mid 40's, with a wind chill in the 30's. With that said: I would pay big money to se Al Gore, standing outside, wearing only a speedo, Oscar in one hand, Nobel in the other, talking about how we're all going to die from global warming.

Today in Miami, we got up to 73 degrees with abundant sunshine and a great warm wind from the South, the beach was great, lots of topless snowbirds darkening their tender white breasts. Tomorrow the cold front slams through, Monday will only be in the 50's. Yep, Al Gore was so right! LOL

Atlanta just cant handle snow, they don't have the equipment and the drivers don't do well in icy conditions.

So far just rain in my part of GA but they're calling for an inch by morning and maybe 1 or 2 tomorrow. Being from parts north I find it hilarious how they get all worked up over a little snow down here. Hell, they can't drive in the rain let alone a little snow. Hope all had a very merry Christmas!

Why did Frosty the Snowman pull down his pants? He heard the snow blower coming.

I don't think I'd want to put my thing into a snow blower!!

Yes I still wore my shorts and tshirt to follies. I don't care how cold it is outside, I know it will be warm in the club and much warmer once I start getting my LDs.

Ugh...while I'm not a fan of the global warming theory myself, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to distinguish the difference between weather (which happens over the short-term) & climate (which happens over the course of at least 3 decades or more).

Wind chills in the teens & a few inches of snow...what a joke...
