And Then, it clicked !!!

wait for it.....
First, at work today, the question came up as to whether it was legal for an employer to require their staff to be male or female. I remembered the one exception to this bias-which came from a U.S. Supreme Court case. And so, the answer is-
HOOTERS
In the early 90's, I discovered Hooters, and at the time, Hooters was thought a bit risque. However, everything changed with the lawsuit. Some effeminate black guy, through the ACLU, filed a lawsuit against Hooters because they wouldn't hire him as a waiter. The suit reached the U.S. Supreme Court (legitimizing Hooters once and for all).
I was a Hooters fan at the time. At the time, the only difference between Hooters and a strip club was that a strip club charged an obscene amount of money to just look. The strip clubs had to compete. The VIP/Champagne room was invented and a table dance (all air) quickly gave way to the hands on lapdance.
And there you have it kiddos.

But way before strip clubs even existed, there were dance halls where you would pay to dance with a young lady, where she would soon lure you into a corner and unzip your pants, pull out your penis, and give you a hand job. These places go at least back to the 1950's, possibly even before that.
I also remember Burlesque houses in Detroit in the 1960s where if you sat in the first row, you had a good chance of getting a blow job from one of the strippers on stage.
