My Montreal Trip
I posted a thread a month ago asking for Montreal intel (and another guy more recently also asked) - thanks to MisterGuy for some really spot-on advice. I posted reviews of the 2 places I spent a decent amount of time and $ in, they should show up soon, Club Downtown and Gentlemen's Choice. I enjoyed both places, but neither measured up to the Sundowner in terms of contact/grinding. I went up there with a couple buddies, stayed downtown at a nice hotel within walking distance from a lot of activity on St. Catherine's. My take overall is pretty consistent with MisterGuy's advice in other posts. The sum of our experiences is as follows: clubs downtown are fun with some good looking women, but no extra's there. The Hill Top is pretty much an extra's only place (was actually somewhat difficult to get just dances), $100/$200 main prices quoted - but is probably at least a half hour away from downtown. For $100 we got a cabbie to drive us round trip and wait for us, we negotiated and paid half after drop-off and half upon return to hotel. We all had way too much to drink to consider driving, so this wasn't bad split up like that. The other extras club mentioned, Club Frontierre, is now closed - I was told this happened 3-4 months ago (and you can see it is clearly not operating when you drive by on the highway). Also, escort scene is as advertised - affordable, easy, and discrete. Merb.ca is a great resource for that to locate legit, straightforward agencies. Most pricing is $160-$200 per hour. Much better value than the clubs, but I still enjoy the clubs for drinking, lap-dances, and atmosphere.

sounds like you've been to the sundowner several times, why don't you write a review of that club? even if you haven't been there in awhile you can write one of past memories there. i'd like another opinion of sd.
Doh! You went to the wrong Gentleman's Choice. Yeah, the one that you went to is located right next door to Club Downtown, but I had mentioned the other Le Gentlemen's Choice II (formerly called L'Axe) that's located up the hill from the University of Quebec in Montreal. You're right though...the one that you went to is not as good a deal as Club Downtown, and I never understood how they got away with displaying the Playboy bunny logo there in the past.
Sorry to hear about Club Frontiere, but it was probably one of the worst of the off-Montreal island FS strip clubs IMO. Some of the dancers at Hill Top can definitely get a tad touchy once they realize that you only want a few LDs & that's it. I never let on right away whether I'm interested in more "extra" fun or not when I accept an offer to go in the back.
From everything that I've ever heard, the Sundowner is THE strip club to go to in the Niagara Falls region.
