A night club owner commissioned the magnetic panties as customers who used to put lira notes in the lap dancers' knickers are now starting to use euro coins."

This story is actually from 2002 when Italy started on the Euro, but it doesn't seem to be an idea that has taken off. BTW, I guess the going rate for stage tips in Italy back then was less than 70 cents American per tip!

    I saw this old article highlighted recently on TV, and the dancer's bottoms in question had numerous magnets all over the front & back for coins to be placed. The thing is, when the Italian strip club owner tried to demonstrate how to place the coins onto one of his dancer's, the coin fell off & the guy just shrugged.
