Too often the pictures are dated and the gals no longer work there, etc. And the ones which try to post a dancer's schedule? Usually that's off too.
The best I suppose is Crazy Horse in San Francisco. They have a big board behind the cashier listing each dancer's name who's working. Don't see your gal? Don't pay! Saves one a $25 cover charge.
A couple of the local clubs have them. One is way too out of date, though, a few of the dancers pictured on it haven't worked there in at least a couple of years. The other was either hacked or the developer was just stupid, for a while it was the source of a couple of trojan/virus downloaders.
My idea of a good club website would be one that has several pictures of its dancers, their schedules (updated daily), and maybe a club db. The websites out there fall short of this ideal. Probably the best "local" would be Living Room, which has several dancer pics. Bare Ellegance & Jet Strip (LAX) has dancer schedules, but no/very few dancer pics, schedules seem to be updated biweekly, usually fairly accurate. I rather like Cheetahs (ATL) dancer pics, & club tour.
One club that I am surprised that does not have a website is Dreamgirls. They have two locations one in west palm beach FL and Columbus, OH. They do have a myspace page but it has not been used since 2008.
It is not as upscale as kahoot's but still pretty nice and has an "award-winning" kitchen menu.
In Detroit the clubs have websites which are lame. The current dancers are not on the site. The Coliseum, The Penthouse Club, Cheetahs, Flight Club, Players and the Windsor clubs think that panoramic photographs of the club will bring in customers. No dancer schedules. No updates, some of them are still carrying specials for calendar year 2008. And they wonder why they are losing market.
One of the clubs I frequent has a fan website that is better maintained than any of the local area club websites. I am baffled by the lack of marketing done by strip club websites for their own product.
They probably want to stay somewhat under the radar, especially for the girls who don't want their faces all over the internet.
Employee turnover probably makes it hard to keep a marketing program going for very long. And it's not like they attract people with business skills to begin with.
A lot of us could do a much better job with it, but do you really want to be in this business?

I have never seen a strip club TV commercial. I wasn't even aware it was possible. I have heard plenty of radio ads, but not lately. My favorite club used to advertise on the radio before their legal issues came up.
As for strip club websites, the two I go to which have websites actually have a good percentage of their dancers with pics still there, but then one of those clubs has a girl who hasn't been there for at least 5 years. I believe a lot of the clubs I've ever visited are on MySpace.
The reason most clubs have lame web sites is because it doesn't pay, no ROI. Think of just about any brick and mortar business in your area and check their web site. Do their web sites suck? Yeah, just like the titty bar's site. When I think about buying a card for my Mom's birthday, I don't jump on the internet and check out Amber's Hallmark Gift shop for specials, just like I don't check the Flight Club's web site

I agree with you whole-heartedly on that one. Hell, even a pizza website, which would seem to have a better ROI than a strip club website, I don't actually use, and not because I don't order pizza for delivery.

Some are pretty decent regarding upcoming special events, appearance by porn stars, drink or food specials, things of that nature.
