10 minutes early?

Due to schedule, etc, I often don't go to a club til late at night, and I'm often there at closing time. Been noticing a disturbing trend lately (that didn't used to happen at the same clubs) -- they're kicking everyone out 10 minutes early. (EG if closing is at 3:00, they're kicking everyone out at 2:50.) Now I understand that if the stage dancers do a 3-song set and there's not enough time for 3 songs, then it kinda makes sense not to start another stage set. But what about table dances (or worse yet) VIPs that you've already paid for (at least the club's take)? Anyone else seeing this, or is this just one more reason why it sucks to live in Atlanta?

Any chance they were getting dinged for not closing on time, and this is just to make sure they get the door locked before three? Still sucks to be the guy getting 30% less than he paid for on his 30 minute lap dance, but that's an easily solved problem for anybody who can set an alarm on his phone. :)

I've noticed it at some places. Hustle everybody out by a certain time. The mood is suddenly killed and you have to make the retreat to Denny's blue balled. Not too many old school places left; you know, the one's that will stay open extra as long as there are paying customers.

Could be an ordinance, or they could be trying to prevent OTC hookups, or stalkers...

Never live in any town with a "closing time." Move to Vegas. Yo, Sinclair, who's that woman in the black bra with the bodaciousness?

Houston Dolls is pitch dark, and that helps with how a stripper looks. At 2:00 they turn on the bright lights, and it's like "YIKES !!"

Not sure of your location, but I've seen in a number of "early close towns", clubs that clean out the regular customers so that employees from other establishments can get together and have a closed party. Been to a few myself.

leeH, I have lived in a suburb for 23 years. ATL sucks. That is why I drive 240 miles every month to TUSCL's nr3 rated club. I get it there. My avatar works there. I am going to fuck her. I just have to time it with #1 who has not worked there for over 2 years. Btw I just invited #1 to move in with me. That will kill shadowcat but I fucking love her.

Every bar, titty bar or otherwise, will try to get everyone out early like that. As for being stuck in the VIP with only getting half the dance, I never experienced that. Most of the strip clubs I've been to which are bars, as opposed to the Iowa BYOB places I frequent or juice bars, were set up so that you paid by the song and you never paid for a specific length of time. They should do something smart and say it's last call for VIP if you go for 30 minutes or whatever length of time.

Some cities or states have strick laws on when the club must be locked down. Closing time, means closed and empty. So the club starts brooming people out in order to make sure that they close up and turn off the lights not later than 15 minutes after closing time.

Yet another reason Platinum Plus in Columbia is such a good club. Generally as long as there are guys in there spending $, the club stays open. Official closing time is 4am but I personally have been there at 6am. I was told as long as someone is in there spending $, they will not close.

Some places set their clocks 10-15 minutes fast and use that as the official time. Then they actually close 10-15 minutes early.

Platinum Plus in Lexington will also stay open until the last customer leaves. Stop serving alcohol at 2:30 or whenever, but they'll stay open as long as a customer's wallet is open.

I know some clubs that have closed down hours early because business was slow due to snow problems. Sometimes it is the mgmt themselves who want to close down early because "they have some pussy waiting for them" I have not heard of a club closing down early with a customer in the VIP suite though. That would be a real rip off and a good reason why you should not pay in advance. One of my favorite spots in town is the Cols Gold/Vanity plaza. Two strips clubs right next to each other. One is a topless alcohol club and the other is a BYOB nude after hours club. Both low mileage but the concept is cool. They also recently opened up an Adam & Eve porn/sex toy shop next door.

My favorite club will stay open past its official closing time if they have enough customers, and in small town Iowa, there isn't much else to do in town. They close at midnight during the week officially, but I was there recently on a Thursday night at midnight, and the club was half-full, so they stayed open. I assume they were still open at 1 am that day, but on the flip side, they also closed early once during the week because they only had one dancer and she left early.

"Btw I just invited #1 to move in with me." Ugh...she's *not* going to move in with you old man...give it up...you've got one foot in the grave already & you're an alcoholic who gets arrested in broad daylight because you're drunk in public!

magicrat is right. A lot of clubs will call, last call early to get everyone out by their offical closing time. But I have been told that If PP's sign is lit you can still get a drink at 6:00AM. This does not include after midnight on Sundays.

I don't fall for the stripper shit of "we are about to close early, so lets get a lap dance now" or "I am about to leave early tonight, so lets get a lap dance".

That is nice that PP stays open until the last customer leaves...but think about if you were that customer? Would you call it quits early or would you take advantage of being the only customer in the club? Spending would get too out of control if you had the attention of all the girls lol. I would probably just call it a night and leave as well myself.

Platinum Plus in Greenville routinely stays open until 6 AM on the weekend. Most dancers start leaving earlier along with most customers. There have been a couple of occasions when I was planning on leaving and then I run into a dancer. Instead of me leaving at 4 AM, it's nice to have the club stay open much later if I want to stay longer. Not everyone works the same shifts or sleeps the same hours. Some small town officials don't seem to understand that. I heard about one small town not far from where I live required all the county bars and clubs to close at 2AM. I was thinking, I'm going to be extra careful now to avoid being out on the highway around 2 AM. The small town officials are going to make people leave drunk in my opinion. With small town officials comes small town thinking from those who don't know any better. They should have left the clubs open to let folks sober up. Somebody will probably get hurt as a result.
