It's usually easy to choose a club based on the reviews. But many clubs in London have no reviews, and what's much worse - 90% seem to be closed on Sunday! What is this - London or The Bible Belt?? :) Anyways, I would appreciate some suggestions. I'll be there this Sunday. It doesn't have to be a lap dance factory, just some friendly place with good beer, moderate prices and little to no pressure. Thanks guys!

Good luck in London....you'll need it. The prices are very high and every dance is an air dance. The Rhino at least usually has pretty girls. As long as you only want to look and buy some overpriced beer, go on ahead.

Some areas of London have tight laws on these sort of things, in some respects we are stuck in the Dark Ages. Rhino and Stringfellows should be open but you will be extremely lucky to get a friction dance. If you are staying a few days I can tell you about gang-bang parties and a guy that organises 'private parties' where you see Blue floor shows and it's 'anything goes' in the Private Dances.

thanks. Obviously londonguy is the man to know! Spearmint Rhino on Tottenham Court Rd is open; the one on Heathrow is closed (it looked better to me). Stringfellows is also closed on Sunday. Unfortunately I am there only for one day. I have a stopover for about 24h. And once again in Jan... but it'll be Sunday again! :( I hope Spearmint Rhino are not as strict to the dress code as they say on their website.

Unless you are staying at or near Heathrow I wouldn't bother with it anyway. Heathrow is a good 30 mins from central London. I would dress qite smart for Rhino, you almost certainly won't get in with jeans. I have heard Browns is quite good on some days, you may wish to consider?

You've gotten some good advice. London is very expensive for most SCs. Places like Stringfellows and Club Oops, e.g., will bleed you dry! You have one advantage that the pound is down to about $1.65. It was right at $2.00 when I was there in 2007. Check out some of my reviews from 2007. Browns and The White Horse Pub are both great places to see some very pretty women up close and nude. It looks as though White Horse has gone a bit upscale with the new Blush name. Both are/were pubs where the dancers circulate with a pint jar collecting a pound from each patron before they dance. If there are not enough patrons, sometimes the interval between dances can be very long. I think Brown's is open Sunday but only in the afternoon. There is no admission and you can stay as long as you like. Brown's has a pole/lap option in the back that was 15 pounds in 2007. The dance is all air. You're much better off standing close to the stage with a pint of your favorite in your hand and nude, mostly young, pussy almost in your face. Most of the places in Soho/Chinatown are a total rip off. Aside from the admission and often a two drink minimum, a lot of the girls are skanks. Remember also that the smallest paper British money is a 5 pound note, so you're tossing $7-8 or more each tip. I would not recommend tossing the 1- or 2-pound coin! Stringfellows is very upscale, and I've been told, has lovely women and sometimes rock/movie stars hanging about. Not your average American SC. One exception to the "don't go to clubs in Soho" is Sunset Strip. The admission was 15 pounds and you could come and go all day. The club has a small theater type stage and seating downstairs. You can stay as long as you want, and you don't have to buy a drink. The girls appreciate tips but mostly that means they will show you their pussy more so than a guy down the row who doesn't tip. The tip won't get you much. As far as I know, there are no options for extras, although that may not be true. There were lots of Eastern Europeans there when ever I went. Girls do get fully nude. I had heard about the private action londonguy noted, but don't know anything about how to get access. Prostitution is legal in London. You'll see escort/massage/fuck advertisements plastered in every phone booth in the King's Cross area. In Soho/Chinatown, there are lots of "models". They advertise in small doorways with signs like 'beautiful blond 3rd floor', 'lovely young Asian upstairs', etc. You'll see guys going and coming (!) through some doors and not others. In 2007 you could get CBJ for 25 pounds and CFS for 30, plus 5 pounds for the 'matron' that meets you at the door and takes you to the star. I had a very lovely time with a young Thai. I opted for CBJ but at the last minute she converted it herself to FS for the same price. Too bad you're only staying one day. However, if your off to Prague from London, the sky's the limit!

Yes, do's and don'ts. NEVER go into a club in Soho. You WILL pay BIG money and get shit entertainment, and maybe get a broken nose as well. Never (IMHO) go for a cheap walk-in place for a fuck. If you want god advice on escorts PM me. Prostitution is ILLEGAL technically. NEVER call numbers on card in phone booths, which are few and far between now anyway. London is a total rip-off in many areas of the sex trade and SC scene. If anyone wants good advice PM me. If you like Russian escorts you will LOVE London. There are some great agencies, some of the most highly rated girls are English but you need to choose the right agency, again PM me if interested. A quality English girl on incall will set you back $350 - compared to comparable prices for same quality U.S. girls in Vegas, NY etc that price IS a BARGAIN.

I usually get better mileage when I am dressed up than when I am just wearing street clothes. Sometimes a dress code is not necessarily a bad thing.

Also forgot to mention the dress code is a simple and cheap deterrent for thugs and losers

hey clamheart, londonguy, you are priceless! Lots of useful info... Sunset Strip would probably be it, since it's in a more central location. After a little more research I found a few others open on Sun: Nags Head, Queen Anne, Ye Olde Axe, Rainbow Sports Bar, LA Confidential - in case anyone else is asking the same questions... I am really not looking for anything special, just a chill place to pass the time... and to add one more city to my list ;)

Ditto on the help. London is one of the world's greatest cities so don't spend all your time in the dark looking at pussy! It's pretty much universal... If you get a chance, Brown's is a great spot for a pint. I've had mixed success with Rainbow Sports. It's a solid notch or two lower than Brown's or White Horse in terms of quality of women. London is a lot easier to get around in than it might seem. Get yourself a good map. The London A-Z book (that's A to Zed!) (comes in pocket size) will serve you well. Do more walking than riding the tube. You see a lot more, and the distances are not great, especially in central London. A good bus map helps too. You can get a bus to just about anywhere. Sorry I can't remember the line that stops across the street from Brown's! BTW stay out of ALL the other places near Sunset Strip. Londonguy is right about actually having a chance to get hurt in a lot of the really scummy SCs. Have a great trip. You've got a break on the GBP. Give us a report!
