ATLANTA -- Atlanta police arrested 29 people following an early morning raid at a local strip club.

It happened at about 1 a.m. Saturday at the 24K Club in the 2200 block of Cheshire Bridge Road.

Police said undercover officers entered the business over a five-month period and purchased drugs from employees and others while inside the establishment.

The search warrant was executed as a cooperative effort involving the city's license and permits unit, vice unit, Red Dog unit and the Fulton County District Attorney's Office.

over a five month period? Damn those cops had an easy job. You could probably go to Mcd's as a regular for 5 months and find an employee there willing to sell you drugs, perhaps even a manager.

By the way ChoclatDiva_1, are we ever going to be lucky enough to see a picture of you?

    samsung1,

Excellent point. Along that line, I recall some years ago in Miami a local TV station did a test on money to check for cocaine on it. They tested $20 bills from many of Miami's "finest". Most had traces of cocaine on them.

I would only say that the environment in a SC is more conducive to drugs than would be a Mickey D's.

"They tested $20 bills from many of Miami's 'finest'. Most had traces of cocaine on them"

...which proven nothing, since the super vast majority of all U.S. paper bills have cocaine traces on them.

A club I visit regularly got raided a couple weeks ago as well. Drugs were the big issue there too, although the cops had to tack on sex crime charges like nudity..oh the shame!

This one was also a 5 month "investigation". One of the cops was observed snorting lines of cocaine in the club, but obviously that's ok as long as you can bust a few strippers. Not sure if this one will ever reopen..hoping but without a lot of hope.

I was in the now closed Memphis Platinum Plus years ago during a raid.Nobody got arrested but every customer and dancer in the couch room got a citation. Much like a speeding ticket.

Here is a more in-depth article about the raid. It also has a news video clip and the video clip does show some of the dancers walked out of the club arrested.

I found the video of strippers in flex-cuffs strangely arousing...wonder if any of my favorites would go for that...
