one night i met a fabulous svelt blonde dancer and spent considerable quality time with her. she was very engaging and as it turned out, both of us were foodies. we compared notes on fav dinner spots and i split with happy thoughts and tented trousers...the next night i was at dinner with my own SO at a favorite SE hangout when who should walk in but the fabulous svelt one in a very brief green sun dress. as wonderful as her work garb was, nothing could possibly compare to her dinner attire, and, oh how she worked it...there was not a breathing guy in the house that failed to spot her. g-strings are swell, but give me a stylishly worn little rag anytime...

watchman - sounds like one of your hotbuttons may be interpersonal injustices. i am certain that many of our wives know that their men go clubbing occasionally -(mine does). She dismisses it as a "guy" thing that she just will never totally embrace. that's fair. on the other hand, it is just plain silly to be clumsy about our stuff...and that is what we are all chuckling about. Good one uscue13. i feel your pain.

I've had it both ways. some nights i can disapear to the back of the club and be happy with an ale and a lot of eye candy. other times, my lap is a very popular place and i end up with a lot of really good ideas from my favs. it's all good at the club.

i'm married, been that way for 3 decades. my wife knows about my "out for a beer" nights and doesn't make a big deal out of it if i don't. once in a while paybacks are hell, but what's fair is fair. i go to clubs for non-committal interactions with a variety of gorgeous women. something to do with spice and life, i suppose. maybe its the relatively innocuous stimulation on several levels all at once that appeals to me...but more generally clubs are where i go to lay low and blow off steam...not likely to run into any clients there (although i once ran into my daughters principal).
