Stripping Across America

How do you afford to travel the country full time, if you are a young, beautiful girl who loves to dance?



Strip, of course!



Here's a brief back story:



The first time I saw a stripper perform was at the Spearmint Rhino in Las Vegas. I was 21. I remember seeing this absolutely gorgeous young black woman in a long, flowing, translucent white robe trimmed with faux fur serenely, seductively gliding across the floor and being hooked instantly. I'll never forget her face - exotic, sensual, smiling only slightly - I sat there in front of the stage with my boyfriend and shyly put a few dollars in her g string when she came near.



I'm from a small town in Hawaii. A former teen model, beauty queen and Ironman Triathlete and Massage Therapist. Pretty, curvy, outgoing too. Always loved men, but loved looking at naked women too, though shy around people I really liked unless I knew they were rolling so I would pretend I was too and be uninhibited.



In fact, when I first started dancing that's how I got through it. Though I'm not a drinker or do drugs (just did some extensive experimentation for a few months) I pretended I was rolling (for those that don't know, it means on E or Ecstasy) to have the courage to walk up and talk to people practically naked.



I only danced for a few days in Las Vegas - Sapphire (which was beautiful but intimidating!) when I first moved from Hawaii. Fell in love with San Francisco when I was flown there for the grand re-opening of Boys Toys (renamed Showgirls). I quickly (within weeks) got snagged by a wonderful man I met in the club and hadn't danced again for 7 years.



Well, now I'm travelling from New York back to San Francisco, dancing along the way to pay the way and for the adventure of it!

I'm really glad I found this site. I used it to find a place in upstate New York to buy a pair of shoes and give it a whirl again.

My first stop was a tiny, friendly place called Shenanigans. I liked the name, and the fact that I could buy the shoes right next door. Seemed a bit inconvenient for the girls to have to drag customers outside to Pure Pleasure for a private dance (I wonder how well that works in winter? Burr!!) I came in on a Saturday, and they happened to be short so the manager, Luigi, made an exception for me. He said to come in from 10pm to 4am, and it was topless only which I liked.
