New York Time Square in the Late 1970’s

I "discovered" New York Times Square in the late 70’s soon after I graduated from high school; it was very much in-your-face “sinful” sexual experiences that I would never forget!

I had always heard about the debauchery in NY Times Square, but never had the funds to experience any of it. Before graduating from HS, being from a poor family in Queens NY, and underage, I will often take the subway train to Times Square just to walk around and enjoy the bright neon sexual sights while fantasizing about the many things I had heard about but could not see due to being underage.

About a month after graduating HS and getting paid from my first full time job, I visited Time Square with a pocket full of money.

My family moved from NY a few months later, and I did not return to NY until many, many years had passed! Boy, was I surprised to see all the changes that were made to Times Square; it was turned into a “normal” tourist attraction for folks to visit. However, as I walked around during my visit, many, many fond memories were rekindled!

My Times Square experiences didn't start until the mid-80s. I don't recall there being any live sex shows left by that time. I mean not the hardcore type you describe. There were live girls doing dildo shows and stuff like that. You could still take the window girls to a private booth, but bareback sex was almost non-existent with the AIDS epidemic. Right there with you, Mister Orange. While not quite the heyday of the 70s, the 80s weren't bad. I especially recall the little sliding door that would slide up for $1 (I think?), revealing a stage with several women. Yeah, Giuliani ruined it. I pretty regularly went to NY in the 70s and 80s. I also saw the live sex performed on stage. On one occasion I saw one of my law partners several rows ahead of me. Ooof, you guys. I did a few topless bars in the 80s but stayed away from the peep shows. Guess I like mine with a bit of alcohol. Do remember a few times walking out of a place and getting propositioned/groped by hookers. I thanked them for their interest and moved on.
