What is it About Strip Clubs?
It's 530pm on a Wednesday and just reset my password to get back in here to Tuscl. With the original pandemic wave over, I'm eager to get back into my favorite clubs...but why?
I've probably saved about $10k over the last 17 months or so staying out of clubs, either because they were closed or I was skittish. I'm willing to part with that cash and resume my monthly spending even though I have better things I could do with that cash, so why go back?
What is it, precisely, about "Gentlemen's Clubs" / Strip Clubs that we enjoy and keeps us going back regularly (however you define regularly)?
It Ain't the Buffet! <Bold/Underlined>
I love free food as much as the next guy, but free pizza and wings is not a good enough reason for me to shower and drive to my local club- only to leave a lot lighter in both wallet and testes. Nope. It's gotta be more than that because I am LAZY. A free buffet is a nice to have and it does make me linger longer in a club. Stomach rumbles will not interrupt me parting with my hard-earned cash! So the buffet doesn't make me GO to a club but it does keep me there.
It's the Women Right? <Bold/Underlined>
So duh. Seeing pretty girls is always a nice thing. Seeing pretty girls semi or partially nude is even nicer. And being able to get <cough> to and touch a pretty girl is nicest of all. Obvious right? Maybe not. I've hooked up with my share of shore girls in the summer and have been lucky enough to spend time with a few of them, but there's still something about a dancer that's so different. A dancer gives you the feeling/illusion/reality sometimes of doing your bidding. It's transactional, sure, but there is an element of enjoyment in that very fact...it's transaction. It will have a beginning (on your time table), a middle (if you're lucky), and an end (hopefully are far from the middle as possible). When you dance or encounter is over, it can be over..or you can share a drink together and chill for a bit before you make your way out or over to the next pretty girl.
Some of my best times at clubs were long sessions meeting different dancers, getting dances, eating, taking a break and chatting up the bartender or bouncers. Just chilling. I treat everyone with a professional respect and clear understanding of what we are ALL doing there and being comfortable- even grateful- for that fact. I love the whole vibe on the right night, at the right club.

There a lot of people that believe that clubs are filled only with lonely, sad, desperate men. Their vision of a club patron and thought process falls along the lines of "why would anyone pay for company?" and they think they can spot guys that frequent clubs (these same people think they can spot mongers. HA!). They are wrong for the most part. In my humble opinion, clubs are filled with guys that like action. A rush. What I call, The Juice.
The Juice is that feeling you got when you fist hooked up with your girlfriend or future wife- hell any girl for the FIRST time. The Juice clouds your mind...a bit. Juuuust enough to perhaps do things you wouldn't normally do. And those things gives you more of The Juice. The Juice is why men cheat. Period. The Juice can have a calming effect over you after a rough day or it can be like a roller coaster ride after you a boring day or week. We look forward to The Juice. We like The Juice. And we know that there's nothing with The Juice.
The Juice is good.

Or in scientific terms, strip clubs: 1) help regulate cortisol, 2) increase testosterone, and 3) generate a release of oxytocin.

Do you think this topic has been studied in a real scientific way?
I know it's not reality. But men in my opinion are able to suspend their beliefs for a few hours and immerser themselves in this fantasy world of beauty and flashing lights and music to feel...
...that anything's possible.
Besides sports I'd rather go to a Strip Club than see a bunch of dudes at a regular bar. It's also a stress reliever and a great place for hooking up when you're in-between girl friends.
The strip club has kept many men sane. I can't see myself going anywhere else to get away from life for a few years and have peace.
at my age it’s one practical opportunity to enjoy these things.
