El Paso Strip Club Scene

I lived El Paso, Texas for a few years, left just recently. I would go to the strip club often multiple times a week so I had a pretty good pulse on the city's strip clubs so why not shit out an article. I was reading an article by Harderlap on Albuquerque https://www.tuscl.net/article.php?id=183… and it gave me inspiration to do something similar.

El Paso is rather large city population wise 22nd in the US behind Boston and ahead of Detroit. You probably wouldn't think that however atleast on the American side the city doesn't really have a whole lot in the way of suburbs so Metropolitan area (A better indicator of the city and it surrounding area on the whole) is coming in at 68th. But that doesn't count Mexico, so then you look just across the border to Juarez, one of the largest (and most dangerous) cities in Mexico at a population of 1.3 million bringing the entire Borderplex to almost 3 million people. I only bring this up because it's a factor in helping some of the El Paso strip clubs out. A good deal of dancers do commute from Juarez to make the big American bucks with some them being very......friendly. Point is the overall area might be more of a metropolis than most people would initially presume.

The only issue I had with the area is nothing else is really close. Then again, nothing is too too far either. Major cities like San Diego, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Denver, Tucson, Albuquerque, Las Vegas, San Antonio, Dallas, Austin, Houston are all within a 11 hour or less driving orbit. I took full advantage of that and in the mean time seeing some of the most beautiful girls in this country, especially if your into Latinas. To only find hot Latina's however, I did not have to look far, so many of them are just walking the fuck around, working at motherfucking Burger King. I saw two 9's just working the register before I left. One pizza hut delivery girl I saw was drop dead gorgeous, I'm sorry you would just never see that shit on the east coast, too ghetto, and always it's always some foreign dude who hates his life. The city is just filled with 19 year old hotties. My only contention is that they should be working in the damn clubs. It would really help the scene and to be quite honest, El Paso isn't a city filled with a whole lot of great jobs, being dancer is probably one of the top professions in the city by a country mile especially for a 20 something who didn't go to college.

Now onto the clubs, just wanted to give a brief overview first. To me this city boils down to three clubs. My strong recommendation is to stick to these three if your just passing through. Red Parrot, Dreams and Xcape. Those are all on I-10. To me nothing else is worth going to but I'm not everybody.

First the recently departed

Cabaret Club
I was not a fan, I know in prior TUSCL lists it would top the value list my issue was not that it wasn't cheap but was there really anything of value in there in the first place. Don't get me wrong I have found an 8 in there but otherwise it was the king of dives and the lineup was just poor consistently the last few years to be frank. THE darkest club I've been too, you cannot see when you enter, just the light from the bathroom in the far back, it took about 15 minutes or so for your eyes to finally adjust, so you really had to make sure what you were saying yes too. That was a tactic for a lot of the ugly girls there wait for you right to come in. Lastly if you hadn't heard it was an anything goes kinda place. Remains to be seen if it comes back.

Now the lesser clubs.

Diosa Club
Private dance club. The only club in the Northeast part of town. You pay money UPFRONT, $120 to an ugly girl for a half hour. Just don't even go. The quality is not there to make it even worth it imo. Maybe if they hire somebody hotter than a 5.

Jaguars
BYOB spot. This used to be the big party spot before Dreams came on the scene I'm told. Not anymore. More of a hip hop vibe than the other clubs (Purple light dead give away) This place sucks before 12. Hot girls can be found here but my real issue with the club despite it being dead at any reasonable hour, is all the stupid charges. $20 after 10, $6 mandatory ice, $20 to get into VIP for dances which is watched by a bird dog. That's not enough value for a club that "just might" be popping at 2am.

Montana Hideaway
I suspect many cabaret club goers will migrate here. Talent is below average for the rest of the city. I have seen a 8 here, one time. Some blonde Latina. Other than that it's very poor. But the club is pretty liberal otherwise. Beat up place, divey. BYOB.

Foxy
BYOB. It does have a dayshift that I never went to because it's $20. El Paso, Texas. Daytime cover. Most NYC clubs don't even a daytime cover what are you fucking nuts. To get in here you will pay $20 and when you get here, you will likely find poor talent. Bottom line. I did have a fav from Red Parrot who did work here originally, Vanity, she was hot, so I'm not saying you can't find a hottie or two in here it is possible but you will definitely find uglies. One time I was here I was convinced I saw a tranny dancing. And the last time I was here I saw a dancer slash a customers face in the parking lot. Foxy's needs help. Divine help.

Sal's Lounge
It's not even a strip club. It's a bar with a pole and they might call some girl to strip that night. It's not enough of a spot to be really even mentioned. I went on a Friday night to no strippers. If not then, when? Right across from Red Parrot.

Now onto the actual good clubs.

Dreams
BYOB spot. Big place, like a warehouse. Home of the baby stripper. I went a lot because the lineup was always different when I went, a lot of overturn. El Paso is a military town, so this is also the spot where groups of privates would get hustled out everything they earned that week. Don't look at me like that, when I drop my paycheck in one weekend, it's "smart money spent wisely by a master" Anyway this definitely the marquee club in the city. Usually the most consistent bet for most hot girls in the city with 60+ girls working some nights. Big time LD factory. Groups of customers being approached by groups of dancers, not sure it's the best spot for a solo PL. Party spot, younger crowd, no dayshift. They had cameras upstairs in the dance area, that they really didn't watch and nobody patrolled up there, I had some really high mileage dances here. It's a good club just not the best place to chat and hang with your favorite dancer.

Xcape
This was my go to spot for the last 8 months or so. Had a better lineup consistently than Red Parrot recently and I was just craving variety. Club serves alcohol which I like better than BYOB. I'm all about buying a dancer a drink and chattin for a little bit. $10 couch dances which are pretty mileage for a floor dances usually. I did see one black dancers with curly hair, great body, she gives air dances. El Paso is a big time two way touch town even one way touch is gonna be stunning to see in any of the clubs so a girl like that probably won't be working much longer. My knock on this place is VIP ain't really that private just a small room with couches facing each other. If you want UHM come in the daytime (it can sometimes be strong dayshift) when you might have that VIP room to yourself. I've had some killer dances in the scenario. I think they hired some really girls recently, so a lot of times I might put this lineup over Dreams. But overall the story here is $10 to get in, $10 dances on the couches with some really good looking girls, great way to feel the girls out and money can go really far if your a big lap dance guy.

Red Parrot
Lets just knock the bad out of the way. Inconsistent lineup. It can't stack up to the prior two clubs mentioned. They do have some superstars, a former fav of mine she might be done with the game though is one of the hottest girls I ever seen period. Her name was London. Would make a fortune in LA or NYC. Along with some others that have worked here but overall the girls tend to be older than Dreams or Xcape but are much more down to get drinks with you and talk. This club is really big on that. RP's also tried some new shit where they have rap open mic Wednesday's. I know the dancers have striking on that day because they don't make any money.

But other than that's it. It's one of the greatest clubs in the USA other wise and a must stop for any monger passing through. Don't sleep on the dayshift, you can find some daytime gems in there (hellooooo Candy!) but otherwise might be a little slow. Nightshift has gotten better in recent months with some new blood. Nobody ever fucked with me here, unlike seemingly every other club I go to in this country where every bouncer manager has something to say. They just know exactly how to run a club, comfortable as it gets. It's amazing if you treat adults like adults, the adults will give your club money. Isn't that amazing? This my personal most visited strip club as of 2019. There is a reason for it. Find a girl that treats you right here and you'll be all set.

Anyway that's my rundown on the El Paso scene. High mileage two way touch is the norm in all of these clubs. If you are not getting that you in this city, you are getting RIPPED OFF. Period. Do not accept anything less. I think locals tend to complain about things here, it's always something but overall it's a good strip club city especially when you compare it to how rulesy it gets elsewhere. One other thing here, there is no VIP Private room option in these clubs in town as far as I'm tracking. That's something I would really love see more of around EP. Anyway thanks for reading and happy mongering.

    Thanks Conundrum

Real quick just add some pricing info that’s not already there to be a little more thorough.

    Jaguars-$20 VIP dances

Montana Hideaway-$20 cover forget how much VIP entry was but I believe $20 a song in there and $10 on floor.

Dreams-$20 to get in. $15 for VIP access upstairs and then $20/$30 topless/nude

Red Parrot- Military/CDL free before 10. Discount after 10. Regular I think is like $7/$17. $20 to get VIP bracket upstairs and $20 dance

Xcape-$20 VIP dance. Wristband was either $15 or $20 can’t remember exact at the moment.

And just read Foxys is now closed. Surprised it didn’t happen sooner. Wonder how that might affect other clubs. That makes Zebra’s on the west side, Cabaret Club and Foxy’s now all closed just within the last 3 years. I could really see Jaguars going next, some night’s there is nobody in that parking lot.

Excellent report. Bad timing, as I was in EP two weeks ago when this information would have been much more valuable to me (;-). OTOH, on my most recent visit I spent my evening in Ciudad Juarez. I will be posting an article on that adventure shortly.

Some months ago while passing through I did log some time at the Red Parrot and agree that this is a good club and worth a stop. I considered the RP on this trip, but I am always looking for a new adventure, hence CR.

Thanks for the article. Well done.

Muddy, great overview of El Paso clubs. Most of these I haven't been to. Unlike you I miss the Cabaret Club. I knew exactly what to expect and always found at least one girl that fit the bill for me. Although occasionally it took a while to find her.

Only visited Dreams one time and that was on a Monday or Tuesday night. Had a good time but nothing that encouraged me to return. But I can easily imagine for the right group on the right night and with enough cash a guy could have fun there.

Becoming more of a fan of Red Parrot but seldom find myself nearby. But fully agree with your assessment of the place. An El Paso institution for sure.

I will have to check out Xcape next time I find myself in town. Love a great day time SC visit.

Thanks Corvus yeah man I’m already missing the dirty bird hard right now.

And one more thing just to add on I forgot about the Lamplighter club (horrible won’t be missed) closed too. That’s 4 club closures in the last 3 years out of 11 clubs making 7 clubs left. I wouldn’t even count one of those. Down to 6 clubs hell that pretty much cut the amount of spots in town in half.

Yeah, I made a mid-day stop at the old Lamplighter years ago. Never considered going back to that dump.

El Paso is a good SC town but the number of clubs is dwindling too quick for comfort.

Yeah it's odd. Now not to ramble on (precedes to ramble on) but about a decade ago you had the Army's 1st Armored Division come back from Germany, they were there for decades and finally back to the U.S. at Fort Bliss which is on El Paso's east side. That's a whole division, about 15K soldiers worth. (Also the reason I was there in the first place with me being one of them.) So you would think something like that would be a huge boon the strip clubs. I've seen it change the town, all types of new shit added when I was there but the strip clubs seems to be consolidating. Dreams is really hogging most of the business in the city it looks like. I just hate when strip clubs are packed to gills, and having not as many options in town is really going to funnel more customers to the good clubs. Might mean more money, which may attract hotter dancers.

Although not really my problem anymore really I don't foresee me ending up living out there again. Beautiful city though, especially on the West side during a sunset, or just anywhere at night looking out into Juarez. I'll miss that stuff and a couple favs that honestly I just can't top. I'm still searching but god damn.

Back about 20 years ago (after driving a truck from phoenix to El Paso) I remember walking to a BYOB strip club... I think it was on Alameda near Clark Street south of the oil refinery. I remember the cover charge was only a couple of bucks. Fun cheap entertainment for a couple hours. all i did was spectate and tip a few dollars.

Good article on El Paso. I used to live in San Antonio. You know what they say:

When the good die they go to Paris. When the bad die they go to El Paso.

The club on Alameda was the Naked Harem. The club owners were found guilty of aggravated promotion of prostitution and engaging in organized criminal activity. Both owners spent a few years in prison.
