On drunks and ROBs

I have a PL friend that likes a high end non extras club. It's the same club that was described in my last article about the baby PLs. He knows that it's not an extras club. In fact that day he had not planned on even visiting a strip club, but he was with a group of friends at Hooters and they were drinking it up for hours and getting worked up by the girls there and decided to go to the strip club.
So they go to the strip club already pretty wasted and immediately start drinking some more as the waitresses there don't give a shit how shitfaced you already are. It's all about the hustle and getting as much money as they can. Shortly afterward, a girl approached the group trying to hustle a room. Rooms are the biggest wastes of money at that club and the easiest way for the girls to make ridiculous money. Now my friend didn't bite this time, but one of his drunk buddies did and bought a 15 minute CR for $250. When he came back, he basically told the group that all he got was some mediocre dances, along with some cheap but overpriced champagne, for his money.
So then a ROB approaches my friend and asks him to do a room. He's already drunk but asks if he can fuck. The ROB lies and tells him he can do everything, fucking, BJ, you name it. My friend, even after hearing about the previous unfavorable experience his friend had just shared with the group, believes what he wants to believe and decides to go back. Once they go back there, he whips it out and the ROB calls a bouncer and he (and logically the group) gets kicked out after collectively wasting over $1000.
I don't know if he's banned (temporarily or whatever) or not. I don't think he should be as he and his friends already gave that club a ridiculous amount of money for basically nothing just that night and from many nights past. But he's probably in no rush to go there again anytime soon.
So what is the takeaway from all this? Don't go to a strip club already drunk. If i was there, being the non-drinker that i am, there would have been no CRs bought by the group to the chagrin of the ROBs. Someone has to watch out for group. You're just more likely to get taken advantage of as well as cause more trouble than you would normally. Before they were kicked out, they were taking pictures and nearly got kicked out. In hindsight, it would have been better and less wasteful to have gotten kicked out for that.
The last important point is to always remember that no one at the club has your back in situations like this no matter how "loyal" you've been to the club or how much money you've spent there over the years. Not ownership, not management, not a bouncer or floor host, and definitely not a dancer (ROB) or waitress. So in the end, you always have to look out for yourself first in the cruel world of strip clubs, and you don't owe anyone a damn thing because when the shit hits the fan, they're not going to remember or care about anything you did for the place.

Caveat emptor and lesson learned. If he's lucky, that will be the biggest tuition payment he ever makes in a club. I suspect, however, that this goofball might have a few more good tuition payments left in him. ;)
Hopefully all of those guys will learn from the experience. A few drinks are fine. Being Drunk enough for a ROB to spot you - is very dangerous.
Since it is highly unlikely that your buddy is going to stop drinking when he clubs, the more practical "takeaway" from this is for him to learn his alcohol limits and to develop standard rules of behavior ITC that can be easily remembered after round number x. Again, standard self control mechanisms. I drink when I club, more heavily when I am in road clubs using taxis, and you will never read a story like this from me because I will never be in his situation. Same with many other folks around here, like subraman (who is doing shots with his favorites) and others I'm sure.
And i said he likely learned a lesson or two out of all of this. I don't think he's going to go to Hooters for lunch and drink till night time with buddies and then brilliantly hit a strip club right after that to drink even more and likely get taken advantage of. Was it just coincidence that as soon as they sat down, the strippers tried to sell rooms? The first stripper wasn't a true ROB as she didn't promise anything and then not deliver. But she was easily able to sell a room with little negotiation or persuading at a place that generally doesn't sell them (as almost everyone that has done them usually doesn't find them worth it) except to whales (like the one that spend something like $1600 in two hours in a recent review/discussion of the same club), newbies and wait for it, drunks. They literally drank the entire day. Anyone with half a brain could realize they were too fucked up to be hitting a strip club. But apparently some people are immune to that. To each their own.
Dirk, you've been watching too much Law and Order SVU or perhaps are spending too much time on college campuses. The law in most states only makes it non-consensual if she was passed out or in close to pass-out condition (vomiting with blackouts). If the laws on consent were as tight as you believe, almost each and every one of us who fucks strippers could be accused of rape at any time because almost all of them are on something, whether it's alcohol or some other intoxicant.
