Lost in the Game

Wednesday, July 7, 2010 9:40 PM

Recently, there was a post about a stripper who was beat half to death. The article struck close to home.

Last year, when I was involved with OTC Gal, she thought it funny when she would disappear for one to three days at a time. There was even times when her family or friends would call looking for her. The biggest reason I'm glad that she is no longer in my life is the fear of having homicide detectives knocking on my door looking for her. Being that at the end she was scamming me, there is no doubt that I was among many that she either scammed, or tried to. She once told me that she had to fistfight a boyfriend. He either was pulling his punches, or he didn't know how to fight, as she was rather petite. In any case scammers usually don't last long with street thugs-her preferred company.

Those of us who have followed sports for a while have seen an athlete who stayed in the game too long. Sometimes, we've also seen strippers who stuck around too long. In any case, it's sad to see someone who stays in the game too long.

For decades, women used prostitution to get through college. When the bordellos were closed in the US in the 1960's, the women worked at strip joints to get through college. It's remained that way into the 21st century. Stripping should be a transition job, a point A to point B experience. This applies even to the single mothers who made stupid decisions. Within a few years, they should have enough money to get through a trade school or community college in order to get a "real job".

Even porn, like stripping, is a gateway profession. The gate swings both ways-progress and ruin. Some porn stars have wisely invested and now live either comfortably, or without much worry. Some strippers find that sugardaddy or find that great career. Some porn stars, though, descend into drug addiction and, eventually suicide. Some strippers also become addicts and it's at that stage they are most pathetic.

Of course, it would be nice if clubs taught strippers important things, like being the perfect hostess, business person, and how to put together a game plan, but it's about the bucks and only the bucks.

Sad.

There are strippers like my OTC Fav which have sability (her marriage), a plan (Law School), save their money, avoid drugs, and loser low IQ Gangsta type guys. These are the gals who will eventually graduate out of the SexWork Profession at some stage of the game. Others can't seem to keep off drugs, keep their car out of impound, and are always supporting some bum is too drugged out or dumb to hold a job. Their future outlook is not so good.

"When the bordellos were closed in the US in the 1960's"

Ugh...they weren't closed in the 1960s, moron...prostitution was only made illegal in almost all states between 1910-1915, largely due to the influence of the Woman's Christian Temperance Union...the same group that was influential in the banning of drug use & the prohibition of alcohol. Get it through your apparent thick skull...I'm getting tired of correcting your ignorant ass Dudster!

And the lame PMs continue from our resident Dudster:
"You are a sad, little, pathetic, bigmouth, with no friends, always taunting people. Consider this:

In at least a dozen places, I can find a comment like 'Dudester, as always, spot on with sound advice'.

There are good people here, men of means I heavily suspect that you're not one), and I'm liked here. You're the only one who has said libelous and ugly things towards me. By the same token though,

I can find, at least two dozen places here, where people hate your ass.

A man is measured by the quality of his friends and enemies.

PRINT THAT ON THE DISCUSSION BOARD, I DARE YOU."

Done, moron. Once again though, you just don't get it. You keep trying to change the subject, and it's not working. The issue that I have with you moron is that you bore us all with your completely fake stories of being a "tough guy", and you can't seem to get any historical facts (like above) correct!

Do I have "no friends", either on this website or out in the real world? Nope, but that's not the point, moron.

Am I a "man of means"? Sure, but again...that's not the point, moron.

You're apparently not going to get it anytime soon, meat-head...run along now...ugh...
