Another Monday night at Centerfolds

Found myself in the city this past Monday for work, and I figured I'd end the night at Centerfolds. I got there right before 8PM so I was able to get in without paying any cover, which was nice. The only downside to getting there this "early" is that there aren't that many girls working at this time. 8-9PM seems to be when the shift changes so there's a strong chance that you'll be there for a good hour when only maybe 4-5 girls are working if you want to get in without paying cover. Anyway, I didn't really care as I wanted to come down from work and could just space out on my phone. The girls who were there at this time didn't really bother the customers either and the club just seemed dead while everyone waited for the next shift to show up.

Maybe 10-15 new girls came at 9-9:30PM and you could see them all checking in with the DJ in case you wanted to know who was working. A few girls made some effort to circulate but most were hanging out with their regular if they had one. After tipping maybe $30 at the rail for a few girls, I decided to bounce and head out since I didn't see any girl I really felt like taking into the back for a spin. Monday's have normally been a good day for me because there's less of a scene and the girls are more relaxed, but the vibe was pretty subdued overall this night, and it was probably due to the fact that it's the week before Christmas and people are heading out to do other things or go shopping.

One other random update that I'll pass along has do with a potential pricing change at the club. I can't confirm whether this is true or not but one girl did mention to me that Centerfolds and a number of the other SF clubs have changed or are in the process of changing how they classify the dancers as independent contractors versus employees. As a result, clubs are taking a higher cut of their earnings so they get health care and a salary or something like that. Plus, the club is apparently going to up the VIP room fee to $450 at some point in the future. As I said, I can't confirm that what she said was true or whether she was feeding me a line to take pity on her and give her a tip or something, but it'd be a pretty specific story to use if it was the case.
